I've heard it once. I was half awake half asleep. I heard Him sing the words in my ear, "I am an Overcomer". He had a gentle voice and He spoke English with a Jewish accent. I know He can talk anyway He chooses, but I believe He talked this way so I would know it was Him.

Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word the proceeds from the mouth of God". The word "Word" there is Rhema, not Logos. Too many Christians only have an intellectual relationship with the Logos, and too little experience with the Rhema available to each of us on a daily basis.

There is not one example of any biblical saint praying and hearing the „voice of God“ its a new invention. God wrote a book, read it, IF you are serious about him. When someone talks to you in dreams or a audible voice, it just might be satanic.

I went to the park by the water one day with the purpose and expectation to hear God speak to me. I prayed to the Lord and told Him that I wanted to hear His voice and that I wasn't leaving the park until He spoke to me. I spent the day there and at some point, God met me there and spoke to my heart. That day was the first of many days ahead that I would go to that park daily, expecting to commune with God and He showed up. I chose to position myself to hear from God with the expectation that I would.

Wow. Did I need to hear this today! I started a new job this week and worked 60 hours. I was exhausted every single day, so I couldn't get up early to have my "normal" devotional time with God. All my time with Him was either in the car or listening to online Bible or messages. I was beating myself up because I couldn't schedule my time with Him, but I didn't realize that I was "positioning" myself to hear from Him. I'm so thankful to God for this reminder that we can hear from Him anytime or anywhere as long as our heart is in a place of expectation and anticipation. Yes, the story of Habakkuk tells us about positioning and so does the Story of Zacchaeus in the NT, He positioned himself for divine visitation by climbing a tree where Jesus was able to see him and after seeing him, Jesus wanted to dine with him. He was a short man who climbed a tree and received divine visitation from God. I have learned that if I walk with the spirit of God, I walk in a guided path (a path that seeks and expects the voice of God) that is forever positioned to hear God's voice and receive divine visitation. Great video, it reminds me 8 months ago, when I was so poor and broke that I could barely afford a meal a day. I remember that I had to take the biggest step in my life when I invested my last income with a specialist trader who works with a Forex trading company. I've always felt so frustrated that I couldn't "hear" God and I felt that He didn't speak to me like He speaks to others. This helped me realize I low key didn't expect God to talk to me at all. Now I know I have to change my expectation. HE does speak to me. He always has. I was not positioned to hear Him.

Thank you so much for this. I did this yesterday asking God to tell me if my daughter will live with me and when will my daughter live with me and HE said Job. I quickly turned to book of Job. This is God’s promise to me. That after all the hardship I will get my daughter in the end. Also book of Job is the 18th book so this will happen in 18 months. The Bible declares that God spoke to Moses face-to-face. Now I'm no Moses however what God does for one he does for all. The Bible also declares in Scripture that I am the Lord I change not. Now for those who feel that God only speaks through manuscripts that have been translated in various languages are ignorant in Scripture.

@@collabomanagementinc5543 Not true. The axiom, 'what God does for one He does for all', does not hold true across the board in all circumstances. For instance, how God spoke to a prophet and how God spoke to Moses were not on the same level. It says in Numbers 12:6-8, "And he said, 'Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream. 7 Not so with my servant Moses. He is faithful in all my house. 8 With him I speak mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in riddles, and he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?'"

@@quambers the creator doesn't change. There is no respecter of persons with the creator. Whether we choose to remain in the creators perfect will long enough to hear that voice is another spectrum. However the creator is always willing to meet with all creation in whatever form to get them to realize their purpose. I meant to type "willing" in my previous message. I'm not naive that all will accept nor understand every way the creator appears to them however the creator is willing to do the same for all those who believe. I think you are missing the point. The fact is....the creator spoke to all mankind throughout the biblical era in some form. The form of communication is another topic. Whether they heeded that instruction or warning is another topic. Just know nothing we can do in this natural rim can alter what the creator has established for all mankind. No plan of the creator is for one single person.

People you don’t need other’s to tell you how to hear from God. So many put their trust in others and don’t let God do what He does best. Just Fall to your knees , confess your sins and humbly ask God to reveal himself to you. Be still and listen with a clear mind and heart. It’s that easy !! His word say’s “Ask and you shall receive.”

Through whatever you are going through, God is right there beside you. There are no promises He will heal everyone, though as believers we know He can but for His own reasons He chooses not to. Dont let go of Him, you being alive is a miracle by itself. Be blessed

@@Maya_Naija He has never done so. He has always used his holy spirit to speak to man. Plus everything he needs us to know he had his angel speak to his Prophets and they wrote it down. We just have to read it. Protocol: Revelation 1 The Father Jesus speaks to the Son Jesus who speaks to the Holy Spirit (Angel) who then speaks to man.

Thank you so much for sharing this for me. Every time I read the word of God He gives me a fresh word! But it seems that when I open my word the enemy tries to attack deeper places and convince me that He isn’t speaking to me. But the LORD always shows up! Even when I think “hm.. where’s the revelation?” I WAIT! And He solidifies it by speaking to me during our sunrise mornings, or on a tv show, or I’m the rustling of leaves, or with an email, etc. And I say that to say now that the Lord will NEVER leave us! He even revealed to me last night that He already told me what season I was in, perhaps just not in the way that I expected. He showed me what season of me life I’m in through the umptions of the Holy Spirit and what He’s been leading me to do. The scripture reads: My sheep hear MY voice and another’s they will NOT follow! Amen 🙌🏾 even if I “feel” like He won’t speak the Holy Spirit leads me to EXPECT that He will. So we disregard pointless feelings and stand *firm* in the words, the TRUTH, of the Lord! The highest or only truth there is.

Amen indeed🙏🏽. Just to add to that as a pastor: The voice of God is within the measure of your growth, the phase of your present journey and His purpose for your life. Meaning it is natural to where you are. The problem is that people are ashamed of where they are by measuring themselves by others who have their own walk, responsibly and are doing their own things. It is an overextending of self and expectations that makes people miss the small things. The Still Small voice of God is that way, so that it can come natural to you for easy understanding and using. It is the super becoming natural to you because He cares. Take easy on yourself.

Amen so true. God looks upon our expectant hearts and honours it by answer. We are sometimes guilty of not being expectant of God answering or speaking to us. God just spoke to me through this message saying be expectant for me to answer you. I have become guilty of not becoming expectant of God moving and speaking the way He used to.
