The second half of the interview is one of the most encouraging things I've seen in a while. We need more of this across the country. Making a difference in the community on an individual level. I'm so happy this man turned his life around. You can tell he is a genuine man from his stories and how he speaks. So glad to hear he recovered from addiction. Addiction hits close to home especially today for our family since I lost my older sister 2 years back. It's truly a shame how addiction tears a person apart. I used to live in Tacony in Philly which is right outside of Kensington and Kensington is where I used to get my dope from!!! I used to do my dope at the McDonald's on West Girard in Kensington! But I ain't using no more been clean going on 6 years!

I still live at Frankford and somerset..right next to bets been there 7 years..4 years last month.. it's a whole lot better then it was popo cut it by like half which is a huge accomplishment so where I'm at is really clean and a lot better you have to hit Kensington Ave before it's just a mess which is only 4 blocks but it changes over almost instantly..I learned it doesn't matter where I live because I take me and my issues with me so once I finally gave up and wanted to be done I was fine I can be literally 4 blocks from it and it doesn't bother me at all..the only issue is the crime, breaking into cars, arms robbery, assault.. which is why I got my record cleared and got my concealed carry permit, so I don't even take out the trash without my gun, and wherever Im going I take mace also..If I have to I have a baton and knuckles 👊 if it turns into a street fight which unfortunately you have to be prepared for because of the unsavory element here and they'll smash your window, rob and hurt you for the change in your cup holder or pocket, literally change. Lots of criminals, addicts, and mentally ill anything can pop off at any time.. it's crappy but you make the best of it hopefully one day I can relocate..

I've been waiting for this!! Frank is probably one of the most humble person period! He's an amazing man, so sellfless. He goes into the belly of the beast and helps those in need out of his own pocket. Feeds, clothes, saves lives with Narcan. I cant say enough about him. His story is one to know. Ya already know King Frank I admire you like no other! Death, I'm truly stoked over this one!! You have a lot of talent & that gift to gab. You'd be perfect to travel the country speaking to high schools & organized events, even tv telling your story. I believe you'd make a huge impact on changing lives wherever you go!

I hear you, I understand where you coming from, but I also feel it’s easy to Judge when you don’t understand, It’s easy to incarcerate instead of offering help. In this guys case he was caught in the middle of a murder that happened prior. Was he wrong for doing what he did, yes, but did the system offer help? Or trial as ADULT?

Great interview Josh!!! Good dude!! You can hear the realness in his voice. A reoccurring theme is the mental effect time has people and their families. It's crazy in one county in NY, you are required to see a therapist to get checked mentally and readjust to society. In the next county over people littetally get out after serving 25 years don't have see or talk to any therapist just two parole officer's for several hundred ex-cons. And you tell me it's not a revolving door. Most re-offend just to get some normalcy in their lives because they feel so out of touch with the outside. My Brother said he was scared every day , but his drive to stay free and gain back some kind of life outweighed tje urge to go back to where your somebody,at least that's the lie you tell yourself. On the inside you may have had status and lots of friends then you go home and know no one and respect and how the world works is night n day. Happy Thanksgiving to all out there having their first holidays on the outside and the families getting lived ones back.❤

WOW… I turned 48 years of age on October 13th, was in prison in total for 22 1/2 years, never became affiliated with any gang and the longest bit being almost 10. I was in EVERY male prison in New Jersey, and 2 in Pennsylvania, one of them being Graterford. Came home in 2014 and changed my life for the better, but some of the things I saw will FOREVER be imbedded in my mind. Frank I’m proud of you as well… Keep up the good work💪🏼🎯

Being in active addiction is a very self centered way of life. Frank’s a good guy, he gives free haircuts to the homeless guys and all the fiends down in Kenzo. He helps a lot of addicts down there and gives back to that community. Big ups to Frank.

This dude has his head on straight...it's a shame he had to experience the prison system. But he has come out the other side a much more stable man. Good interview my guy...I've watched a couple hundred of your videos so far.. I'm working through them all..
