Those are some very nice finds. Sounds like they had a wonderful day, but how do you go wrong spending a day on the beach fossil hunting with Ashby? Bridger still has our entire dining room table covered with the fossils from our April visit. As a historian, the plantation tour (no fossil hunting) was very enjoyable in learning some of the lesser known aspects of South Carolina phosphate history. Well done!

Did Native Americans ever use the teeth as arrow heads, spear heads, or other cutting tools? Some look like they would be perfect?
