Fair play to him, he's 56 years old, left quite a legacy in punk, even their last album was a good return to form. It's unreasonable to expect someone to do the same thing for 40+ years and not move on at some point.

I remember a long time ago at a NOFX show when I yelled up at him "Fat Mike, you rule!" Fat Mike looked over and said, "Really?" Such an amazing band. Enjoy retirement 🤘🤘🍻

Timeless music. NOFX will live on forever. I just hope the rest of the band was ready to take on a new path of hapiness.

Nothing makes me happier than music and NOFX is responsible for so much of it. I have tons of memories tied to this band and their songs. So many shows and experiences. My life is better because of this band. I don't think there is a more powerful catalyst than music for bringing others happiness, but I wish you the best in your new endeavors, Fat Mike. I'm not gonna cry that it's over, I'll smile because it happened. Cheers from San Diego. 🍻
