We have high iron in our well water. It took me part of a Sunday to install this filter myself. After one week of using this filter we are VERY happy with its performance . I can drink the water now.

How is yours working today? I installed mine last week and it worked great, but all of a sudden the sulfur smell has returned and I can’t seem to get it to go away 🤦♂️

It’s doing good with cold water. No more iron . But the hot water started smelling and little. I changed the backwash to every 48 hr . I really like it a lot.

How frequent is the back wash and how much water does it use doing so?

It is set for every 72 hours but I felt we needed more so I adjusted it to every 24 hours. It looks like it uses a few gallons. It backwashes for 15 minutes.

I installed mine six months ago, and it plugged up they would not warranty or stand behind the product not what you call the best unit
