Alma is literally a Yandere in this game. She has a legit crush on the protagonist and keeps lurking because she’s stalking him. The reason why she starts taking on a more mature appearance is because she’s trying to seduce him.

An FPS where the main plot is about a yandere Ghost-girl. It's like that scene from Ghostbusters but extended into a full video game. It all makes sense.
