To be honest it was pretty quick ! I spent most of my time trying to toss a live enemy grenade into a door, only for that to be impossible in the end 😅

With #4 I will sometimes toss an EAT resupply into the vent itself. I find it's a little more consistent than trying to place them directly ontop. Great work Helldiver

That's a way to do it ! I had issues with the supply sliding into the vent and becoming inactive, so now I toss it on top.

I saw a video where an enemy grenade thrown in the door actually exploded the fabricator. Maybe something went wrong?

I saw it too, but yet I reproduced it several times without success. I know there is a way for the grenade to destroy the fabricator if it ends in the vent, but hell i'm not suicidal !

@@Daemolya I can confirm that it works. I pulled it off one time, though it’s possible something else blew it up. Perhaps the grenade detonated the explosive backpack of the Marauder standing at the entrance and that killed it? Either way, grenade return to sender -> fabricator kill can happen.

The most surprising thing about this video is that he was rocking a ballistic shield. I don't think I have ever seen anyone using one in game. Well played sir.

anything with a hellpod you don't even need to land it on top or inside the fabricator just place it close enough to the walls so it hits when it lands

@@treasurewuji8740 in case of a fabricator that already breaks it in case you need the hellbomb itself you give space between where you face where you thow it, and any closest wall as the console of a hellbomb is always away from you

Any support weapon or stratagem that brings down a hell pod will also do the trick if you hit the ground very close to the fabricator in my experience. Makes a good use for that refreshed jumpack strategem or that resupply you need to call down anyway, or whenever you're out of everything else and need to start getting clever.

That's what made me think of that video idea. I spoke with several other divers that didn't know "obvious" tips because... They aren't obvious for everyone ! The game encourage creativity, and I know that not having grenades, explosive stratagems or support weapons doesn't negate our ability to destroy them. Only wanted to share !

You can even use the bots’ own grenades, I’ve only done it once tho. Stars have to align.

I have seen a bot accidentally throw a grenade into the fabricator before. I didn’t see if it was the door or vent, I was on the other side of the building. It was just me in the game and I hadn’t done anything to the building yet so I know it was the bot grenade.

Good video but If I can recall. I think the orbital gas strike can kill the fabricator If the initial hit is close to the fabricator. Tho no one brings gas strike against bots so it really doesnt matter. Good video

That's true ! I've learned that one the day after this video was created, so too late sadly. This is amazing that even my extensive testing didn't covered that. Who knows what others ways we can deal with these...

There's also the situation where if you shoot at a jump pack bot and it explodes at the door, it will blow up the fabricator as well.

How did you get the cluster bomb to destroy it?

The cluster bomb drop in a certain way depending on where you were looking when you threw it. Let's say you looked north, then the cluster will drop in a line from West to East (or East to West, this thing confuse me). If there is a vent in the line of the eagle and one of the cluster bomb land in it, boom. That's pretty much it.

Thermite doesn't really count as seperate from grenade though.. Also if you're using stuff from new warbond, you're missing on Eruptor and Grenade pistol kills. :P (also almost certain rocket and mortar turrets can also kill fabs, and maybe autocannon turret though that'd be way trickier...) And lastly missing the traitor bombardment kill. :P

That's why I noted them as "1bis" and "2bis". They are, at the time of the video, introduced in the last warbond to date and the video was made on the release day. So it made sense I'd test it out.

Ok you missed one now granted I've only managed this one time but. You know the bots that have jet packs that also explode when you shoot them well if one of them is spawned in by the fabricator and it's door hasn't closed yet if you shoot that bot and if it explodes it will destroy the fabricator. Like I said I have only done that once so probably not worth waiting around for but in a pinch when you're out of grenades it does in fact work.

I managed to do that several times but it never destroyed the Fabricator ! Maybe it need a special angle to work ? I'll test it out someday !

If you line it up right, you can take a fabricator out from across the map using the autocannon. I main autocannon and use it like it's a sniper rifle.

so ive literally tried throwing dozens of grenades in the vents and doors and hasn't ever worked. did they change something so this doesn't work now?

Yes ! The Eruptor and the handgun that launch grenade ! For some reasons I wasn't feeling like including them, I knew the Thermite were doing their job but I'm still waiting a few patchnotes for weapons because the nerfs are never too far...

Bruh, i got kicked cause i put in chat "kobe" and landed an eat into a fabricator from 300 m away. Honestly, it was still the start of the mission and my allies somehow got themselves killed a few times on non-issue enemies, so it made me laugh more than anything. "Kobe" *ping ~300 m "Light Fabricator Destroyed" *kicked from game

enemy grenades also work through the door along with back/jet packs on the bots coming through the door when they spawn First for me was with the laser canon on the door which suddenly popped the factory and confused me second time i had a liberator and gunned down the bots coming out which also pushed their corpses back inside and one of which had a back pack that popped and blew up everything then the enemy grenade i was lining up a strategem to crush it but saw a nade land at my feet so i passed it into the door and it blew

I know it's possible to destroy bug holes by diving into them, can you destroy automaton manufactories by diving inside?

You can't destroy bug holes yourself without explosives. Do you mean holding a grenade and diving into a bug hole ? If that's the case, YES, you can do the same with fabricators.

Hey! EAT or "Expendable Anti-Tank" is a stratagem. His full name is "Expendable Anti-Tank 17" or "EAT-17", because you need to make the enemies "eat it". Devs are smart with their names.
