Thanks, my first couple of weeks using the CTX 3030 had my shoulders sore, went to a cheaper sling but will be adding this to my GET list

Played with mine some and adjustments. Just around the yard no serious hunting. Adjusted the bottom in as tight as possible against the bottom. To keep it in tight and out of the way. When I bent down saw the problem you were talking about it comes apart. Then extended top rod until that problem seems to be solved leaving the bottom in tight. Guess some hunting time will tell how it works. Big coil and a beach trip in about a week with the CTX. Will see how it goes. Thanks for the info and vide

Good review Evan, you answered my main question about the ease of the disconnect. As much as I am up and down I was wondering how it would work for me. Thanks

The struts are VERY important. They enable you to carry the weight all day long. Longer is better for taller guys. I swing the GPZ 7000 with a 19 inch coil all day without getting tired.

I just bought mine from Radioworld up here in Toronto Canada. It is a great product....I run an Etrac with a 17 inch NEL and Sunray PP so I needed something just like this...I can swing my detector easily with no interference from the vest or plastic support arm...you can put a bit of tape around the ends of the plastic arm so they fit tight inside the fabric sleeves and they never pop out..HH Mike Toronto

I use it as well with my E-trac and do like it. It can be a bit tricky on uneven ground (slopes, rocky areas, stumps) and I have to adjust it every hour or so because the belt seems to creep upwards after a while. Sweating heavily under it is a given but not much one can do about that in the Oklahoma summer. It has doubled my searching time because my weak back gives out after about 3 hours without it and I can now go 5 or 6 hours before I have to call it a day.

I exchanged emails with Bart - told him you inspired me to get the CTX - - think I'll call him back and also get this harness setup. Leave a FEW targets for me there in OK - be there in a couple months with my CTX expecting to find a couple hundred silver coins that you missed LOL. Born & raised in Enid - LOTS of old homesteads there just waiting for me :-) Thanks for this video - and all your other ones. Keep them coming! Terry

i got mine in the mail last week from a dealer in nj, but have not un-boxed it yet. when the ctx first came out last year, five of us bought them in one lot. i keep mine 29 days and then returned it due to the weight, now i may buy another one with this harness set up. i try and hunt everyday and my shoulder told me after 29 days it could not stand the pressure any longer.

Nope! It was just vest and bag...They're sending it to me! Had a good day today!...I found an old piece of gold jewerly (tie or collar pin?) with a marking of S8cS on the back side...ever heard of that? Thanks!

I noticed the same thing.. after adjusting the bottom screw took care of it..I did have the arm come apart twice to day.. especially when I was bending down.... I am going to see if I have the adjustment wrong..

I can't answer in his case but as far as my shoulder goes (hurt in baseball pitching) I notice immediately the torque doesn't hurt at all like it does when I'm not using it.. definite plus for me..

I like mine as well but I don't know if it's that it new but now matter how much I adjust it rubs the crap out of the sides of my neck and I have j screws screwed all the way in and where they sit in upper mount they sit 1-2inches off my body

Got one only concern is it seems like the j strap thing will bang int the detector as I swing. Mine may need a little more adjustments just pulled it out and hooked it up for a test run in back yard

I got mine in the mail the other day, took me awhile to set it up only because I don't think they had the bigger guy in mind when they designed the Pro-Swing, I am sure if I lost some weight it would function better

Perfect timing on this review video! I recently saw this product and wasnt too sure about it because of its price. My dad uses and Whites DFX and even though its not the heaviest machine on the market he has a lot of problems with his rotator cuffs. Hes had multiple surgeries on both arms and after just a few hours of detecting hes normally in quite a bit of pain. Do you think this product would help relieve the stress on his arms and maybe help him stay out longer with less pain?

i imagine it would be good for water hunting too don't have to worry about losing the detector with it being connected to you :)

I don't think ML intended for the disconnect on the bottom like that, but it was definitely easier and quicker for me to do it that way..

Can you switch from left to right attachment easily? I have a different type of harness, but after awhile I like to switch the detector from my left arm to my left arm.

Too bad your coil leaves the ground at the outter limits of your swing. Deal-breaker for me !

If you will rotate your waist it will take a larger swing.. It works especially with the 17. I don't know that I had to shorten my swing..
