Probably best to wait for TopSpin 2K25 | TIEBREAK Tennis PC Gameplay

Super excited to play #TopSpin2K25 however, while we wait, I downloaded TieBreak, another tennis title. This was a bit of a mistake, as it's not near as good as Topspin 4, sadly.

It does look nice, I just prefer how the game of TopSpin plays better. It's something about the players animations. However, it is in early access, so it could improve!

I agree. Matchpoint is a better game than this, but even then that is not a great game either. TopSpin is one I am hoping that is the killer Tennis app.

can someone tell me if the gameplay is just as clunky and bad as ao tennis 2 or if its actually playable?

It can be playable, I just don't like the animations of the players at times. Also, having to hold down the Left Trigger to run left and the Right Trigger to run right, is a pain.

OH dios. Recuerda al AOT2 pero lo percibo incluso peor, que ya es decir. Merecemos juegos mejores pero entiendo que crear una obra maestra en juegos de deportes no es tan sencillo... . PES 6 y los antiguos NBA 2K fueron quizá los únicos en lograrlo. OMG. Looks so similar or even worse than AOT2. We deserve better tennis games, but....... I understand to create a masterpiece sport gaming is not so easy... . PES 6 and the old NBA 2K were maybe the only ones to reach that.

Agreed, I just don't know why more developers have not tried their hand at it. I am surprised EA of all teams didn't try something. I am hoping that TopSpin 2K25 will be a great game. Also, will this be a yearly or bi-yearly release?

Perhaps, or perhaps not. I never said I didn't like it, I just feel TopSpin is a better game. It's like every other tennis game in terms of game mechanics. Even though I won the match, it's still not as good as TopSpin. I just don't like the movement or how it feels when controller your player. The players slide around too much on the courts, the racquet doesn't always seem to be positioned correctly either. Also to sprint you push the thumbstick in the direction you want, but you need to hold the Left trigger to run left and to run right, you need to hold the Right trigger. The AI and ball trajectory is off too at times, especially in lob shots or drop shots. Even if you play on Expert mode, you can do drop shots all day and the AI struggles to deal with them. There is a reason why it's an Early Access title as it's not a completed game. It could be a great game if they resolve some of their issues. I still prefer TopSpin as a game though.

After play TopSpin 2K25, it's a fair better game than TIEBREAK. The characters may look better here, but TopSpin is so much more enjoyable!

Very disappointed. Was hoping for 2k25 to be the best tennis game. Top spin 4 was much better than this crap.

TopSpin 4 is definitely a much better game. Hopefully in April we will see the return of TopSpin. I just hope it plays as well as it did in TS4.

still it's way lower than expected. TS4 was way ahead of it's time. the graphics and the gameplay was top notch. wouldn't pay a cent for this crap@@deancoffey2228

This is just in early access. This game is called TIEBREAK Tennis on Steam.
