Yerhh blew the cap pack and replaced it with a new one out the bag. Still did it so changed it again for a second new one incase it was dud.. Previously I have increased the timing on the motor from 30 degree's to 35. What you are saying sounds interesting. Could the increased timing be drawing too much power? What cap pack do you use?

Yerhh Car is awesome ATM too which really pisses me off. Funny you should mention new builds to the channel. I am currently undergoing negotiations with some suppliers 😀

Hey David. Thank you for contacting me regrading this. Yerhh I have a M17. What receiver are you sing with the M17? I bought a Second RX493I? When I am driving, it feels like the old days when someone powers on with the same Crystal.

I run two cars and have also set up the Safety link feature correctly if that matters.

@Paul Fulton RC I'm using the rx492 antenna less receiver. Receiver placed next to esc with antenna part away from esc had no problems since changing.

Yerhh this really pissed me off as the car felt awesome. I have my wires one short so it won't reach, but I put my lipo in upside down so the negative reached the positive. I always carry spares and they are easy to replace. I thought it was a speed issue, the car carrying too much as it is the quickest it has ever been. But I think the straight at Bury is quicker and longer and I don't get issue there. It really feels like the old days like when someone comes on same crystal as you. Yerhh it did it at the top corner too which tells me it isn't a range issue. I did a practice with no other cars running and it was fine. Once it glitches it does it under low speed too so it was either a wire or a radio issue. What people have said about the cap pack is interesting as it kind if makes sense. But I contacted supplier and they said standard cap pack is fine for all situations. The timing on the can being at 35 degrees is also not too much. But it is one thing I can reduce if the problem continues. Its a shame because I feel I am driving well at this new speed. I don't really want to slow the car down. I will look into sending the old esc back for testing as I would like to know it is OK so I can use it in something else. I really took my time laying everything out with this new stuff and used double sided velcro strips instead of cable ties so the wires can mive around and not be under any tension. I have a spare motor too to try Sunday If it continues. I replaced the end bell on current motor as sensor plug was damaged. It is the right end bell for the can so don't think that is the issue. I was was thinking it could be a timing issue after ut first started shooting off the track, but the glitch looks like it occurs under low load too so really don't know. The motor is the only thing left in it from the original system that gave me a glitch so if I replace that the problem has got to be sorted right? I am nit able to get it to the track to test it and want to test it under race conditions as that seems to be when the issue occurs. I will be able to use the old system in another rig but at the moment just wanted it sorted for the Regional at the weekend. Stay tuned to see how it goes. It is going to blow my mind if it glitches out in Sundays practice. I have kind of lost confidence in the car so it may take me a while to get up to speed.

Cheers for the input Jaymie. Yerhh I have since after this replaced the servo. I shortened the wire stupidly on the old one, but it was all done correctly with solder and heat shrink. Someone said it could be the sensor lead which I have also replaced since this.

@@FullOnRC it’s could be the stupidest but it’s a chance it could be the servo wires but I’m no expert lol but if u ever go with a different servo brand power hd are the ones to go with that what I use

@@jaymierc6807 I was looking at Power HD but they wasn't in stock. One thing I do know. This kind of all started after I connected ESC up the wrong way round. The ESC has the Polarity protection so I can not be sure if it is that. Some much has gone on with the thing now I just bit the Bullet and got new Brains for it. I was thinking about it today and a few months ago I changed the end bell on the motor as the sensor plug was damaged. I got same spec can ends for the wind of the motor and they went on no issues. I would think it maybe something to do with timing, but the way it glitches and moves around even off the power I think I am clutching at straws. Expect to see it on Ebay if it F@cks up this weekend at Ulverstone.

@@jaymierc6807 Will keep that in mind pal and added one to my Wishlist. One of the guys at Southport had a look and he said I had the wiring was laced up too tight and had used cable ties to secure it all. My sensor lead was close to one of the motor wires so we cut them all off and let them all swing, It still did it. I have a spare motor in my box so if it does it at Ulverstone practice I will swap it over. Only thing left is the tranny but I doubt it would be that. I had a race at Bury where it pissed it down so bought a radio bag thing so I don't get caught out again. I had a go with it on the track just me and it was fine. So If I go Southport on Saturday and it is fine, it maybe another story when other radios are being used. Fingers crossed.
