Folks, advertising comes from KZfaq: it's *not* in the recording - I bit the bullet and paid for KZfaq Premium and get no ads/adverts at all in any of these.

2 ads less than 10 minutes in. Does it stay like this or taper off?

It tapers off.

Why so many ads ? Forget this. Still plenty of Poirot and Mrs Marple audiobooks with less ads so moving on.

Why do these videos always have crap music annoyingly inserted into them?
@larrywest426 күн бұрын
I've heard it has to do with copyright violation detection algorithms. (I find it hard to believe that injecting 3 minutes of anything in a 3 hour recording would fool any algorithm from this century, but 🤷)

I don´t understand the Harley QUin story at all!
@larrywest426 күн бұрын
Hmm. I'm not an expert , and this isn't quite an answer, but: It's not a style of story I've read from Agatha Christie before, but I think it fits a tradition of European folk tales, with Harley Quinn ("Harlequin", originally Italian "Arlecchino"), playing less of a trickster here than a messenger of sorts, with assistance of Hermes - the Greek protector of messengers, among other things. Black dogs also play a significant rôle in English folklore, often associated with Death, though not _necessarily_ in a negative way. The appearance of Lily brought to mind the subgenre of "grateful dead†" tales. It doesn't turn out to be one of those, but the tale has the same "energy", as the kids say these days. Hope that helps a little. †yes, the inspiration for the musical band of the same name. Makes it hard to search for, though!

People i preach to you out of love. come to the lord Jesus christ who died for our sins, all have sinned and will perish but christ came so that who ever belives in him would not perish but have eternal life. (john 3:16-18) Christ is the only way to salvation you must humble yourself, confess you sins and repent and live according to christ you are never far gone please dont reject christ but make him your lord and trust in his work on the cross he died because he loves you and we are saved by gods grace by our faith in christ please read these words and seek the words of the bible Jesus loves you

My beloved Father Thy Will be done on earth as It is in Heaven. Be Thou be my Father. Be always my Eternnal Father. Do not leave my soul. Do not abandon me. Do not leave me out of Your Sight my Father for I am Your child whom You have created to please You, to adore You, to honour You living my days as You have given me the licence to live it. I offer You my FIAT to Mary, to Jesus to You Eternal Father. Amen (Words of Eternal Father to Mother Eugenie:- I PROMISE YOU THAT YOU WILL FEEL THE POWER OF MY GREAT LOVE FOR YOU (my child) THAT I WILL SEND YOU DAY IN AND DAY OUT BUT YOU HAVE TO OFFER ME, AS SOON AS YOU GET UP IN THE MORNING, YOUR FIAT.)

"Mary": see my reply to the earlier spam from "annemccormick2561", but in this case I want to point out that demanding _anything_ - even if it's just a Fiat - in exchange for "love" means it's not really love. IOW, you're being manipulated ... or gaslit.
