The tile of your video should be "Problems of a prestige hob in indian kitchen | watch before buying a hob | 2+ years experience of a hob" In my home I have purchased a 3 burner hob from BOSCH for my wife. I purchased it on 15 th of August 2016 got it installed on 17 th August 2016 its now 7 years old still working perfectly fine she never ever faced any problems. In one of my cousin's home they are using a Kaff HOB for the last 5 years without any issues another cousin a Faber Hob for the last 3 years without any issues. Hobs are the best if you select the correct company and the correct features. Always purchase hobs with 100 % Brass Burners they really last very long.

Cast iron are best. They do not distort unlike brass due to long cooking. Unfortunately cast iron is not available in fancy products. Hob is just a fancy name for a recessed gas stove. Also people don't understand the word word modular. Unless the cabinets are multiple individual units ( ie modules) assembled together to make a ful kitchen cabinet system it's not modular. But people just name any fancy looking kitchen cabinet system as modular. If it's custom made to requirement and doesn't have individual standard sized modules then it's not modular. Also most important thing for a, stove/ hob is how good and smooth the valve is, how the gas burner is sized to deliver even heat. The smooth control from valve to control a range of heat from low to high is the key to a good stove/hob. Otherwise stoves are extremely simple devices just the shape, materials differ which have very little impact on quality of flame.

flame can be increased, we have elica hob and the flame was very low initially,we then called technician and asked him to change the flame of one burner and he added some tiny piece like a valve which increases the flow of gas. the flame is so strong now that I use that burner on the medium setting mostly which is more tham enough. cleaning a hob is tough job if you spill some liquid, that is what I find as disadvantage about hobs. rest is manageable

Well the research which u did after installation of the product should have been down before . Should have gone for a better product. But there can be creative solutions instead of changing the entire counter top.For instance u could go for a SS cover( custom ) to seal the excess area or even buy a size bigger than the current product.

Completely agreed. We also have this same model of Prestige cooktop. It is very difficult to clean and needs daily cleaning and maintenance to work properly.

we are using same Built-in HOB for last 15yrs and there hasn't been a single problem, just yearly need to replace the D type battery. and do a self service every 6 months and daily cleaning of burners and glass

Ur words r true... I hv elica but same issue baar baar burner block ho jate hain aur uske jet bahut deep hote hain to cleaning is impossible... Dust also gets trapped in d tiny holes

I think faber and elica are good for hobs. I use induction for milk/tea/coffee, the main reason is the vessel s don't get burnt like in gas or hob

Buy one hob which is bigger in length and breath and simultaneously increase the cutting by few cms .

Go for the bigger size bosch or siemens hobs.... then your marble will not go waste... small hobs pe yeh marble nahi chalega but large par toh obviously chalega kyunki wahan aur thoda cut karna padega jiski jagah hai aapke paas... n ur problem ll be permanently resolved

Luckily I have an elica 3 burner hob...it's really good...I have been using this hob since 2014...its really great...every guest who come to our kitchen and if I make tea then....they really say wow...such big flame...everyone who sees it, is amazed by the flame and big burners....brass burner with black powder coating on top...touch wood

I wish I had seen your video 5 years ago. I bought the Hafele hob top and am facing manjit issues. Now finally changing it to cook top. But due to the granite being cut, finding a cooktop to cover that cut area, is proving to be soo tough! Would never ever recommend a Hob to anyone.

Behen apka ek ek shabd sacha hai main khud bahut dukhi hu Maine apni mom ko Whirlpool ka hob gift kiya tha per wo din aur aaj ka din hai wo bhi pareshan hai aur main bhi Roz galiyan sunta hun or har doosre din iski cleaning karta hu Aur is video per bhi un pareshaniyo ka koi samadhan dhundhte hue pahuncha bus abhi saaf karke hi a raha hu. Aapka video dekhne ke baad mujhe samajh nahin a Raha ki hansu ya Rona shuru karu.

sorry to hear you have issue, but you could have gone with better brand. Bosch is great brand and I prefer a steel surface for easier cleaning.

Maam saw the video today... U can change the valve so the flame will be more... It comes as Italian flame very low as per their cooking.,. U can call a gas official n he will change the valve n give... If only that's ur problem it can be solved

I know that I had this but I was stressed to give this hob to work to maid as she may spoil that. So for roti cooking I gave her normal gas in balcony. When I shifted to another house I bought basic steel gas with 2 burner and was tension free when maid uses that. If you are young and you manage your kitchen yourself then you can go for look but my view is if maid is cooking most of the time then buy good quality basic gas.

We had the same model until diwali 2020 luckily it was not fixed into the counter. We replaced it to a normal glass top stove by Preethi

I can give you one idea dear. Aap us hob ko nikalwa kr us jagah pr ek same piece marble joint krwa lein aur us particular jagah me aap Naya coook top le kr place kr skte hai. Just for concern bataya .other wise aap ki marzi
