No issues with mine and love this boat❤️Looks impressive just sitting and the sound of the 8s torque on the prop makes it a blast👍Would buy again without hesitation🏁

I just found your channel, great work and love your back yard pond. 1 question, do you prefer cats or deep v's ? For just tooling around. I am no racer and just built a nice air boat but am looking to get something to just bash around a local pond. Thanks and keep up the great vids.

Thanks my man appreciate the kind words 👊 I think if I had to choose, I'd go V Hull for bashing, self righting ability etc. If getting serious then over to the cats we go. Get a sonicwake dude, you won't regret it

Hey buddy great video! Quick question, what does "servicing the prop shaft" entail? Also do you put a little glue to hold it in each time? Going to order this after watching your review!!

Great video man spot on with the tips , I’m still enjoying mine got 76 MPH (122 kph) so far beyond that might be a challenge ...
@easternrc19243 жыл бұрын
Thankyou, I asked on that 70mph video of yours what sized prop you were running to get 76mph? Be interested to know for sure. Cheers mate
@rcadventures43423 жыл бұрын
Eastern RC when others reach that speed I might be ready to say but not right now, I’ve put a lot of work in and didn’t just want to give it away...

@@rcadventures4342 ok mate, is it much bigger than a 48? Gotta do a GPS run on her dude!
@rcadventures43423 жыл бұрын
Eastern RC I will say I’ve found that prop design is probably more important than prop size, what I run is nothing crazy size wise (ESC & motor temps all good) but the design is innovative. This is the GPS (Sky RC) I currently use and for sure it’s been the best so far... www.ebay.com/itm/193621413701?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=193621413701&targetid=1263433206854&device=t&mktype=pla&googleloc=9011948&poi=&campaignid=11612430909&mkgroupid=122767857992&rlsatarget=pla-1263433206854&abcId=9300456&merchantid=263834333&gclid=CjwKCAjwwqaGBhBKEiwAMk-FtGHBbsbvVmtXSSkt1zzAhBYB_p3v5-OrB0cxH_ZOqOUl8LK9Xa6ZIBoC9WwQAvD_BwE

where do you get aftermarket props for this boat can’t find any online

Any 3/16" prop suits the blackjack shaft

How much gap do you put on the shaft between the prop and bearing? I ran a 4814 and it got hot
@easternrc19246 ай бұрын
Whatever the diameter of the shaft is is the amount of gap I leave. As for heat issues it could be a number of things, but generally speaking the primary cause is shit batteries, followed by bad soldering. A binding shaft usually doesn't last long and the generally will snap. I suppose it could just be rubbing... but you'd see marks on the bushings generally
@Pauly_______6 ай бұрын
@@easternrc1924 I changed back to stock prop and the heat issue went away 🤷. Same batteries

Does the boat come with batteries and if it doesn’t what batteries should I get
@easternrc19242 жыл бұрын
No mate it won't come with batteries, id recommend at the very least 2x 6000mah 4s batteries. The bigger and heavier the better. I run 4x 5000mah 4s packs

Ok so in your opinion how would you rate, UL19,Veles 29, blackjack 42, and miss geico?
@easternrc19243 жыл бұрын
Well for the best quality boat, i'd choose the MG36, the UL19 is a really nice boat too but I do not own one. Veles 29 doesn't even make the cut for me, and the BJ42 is kind of it's own thing being the biggest and having the most presence.

Seems all fine and dandy untill the hull breaks in half on a flip .😅
@easternrc19246 ай бұрын
I have no idea why so many people have issue tuning these boats not to flip? One of the easiest boats to get ripping as a solid basher. People striving for super high speeds... ok maybe, but that's inherent with all boats!

I think the good dear old Zelos 48 is far way better than this piece of plastic. It is quite evident that they saved in the design and construction of this hull.
@easternrc19242 жыл бұрын
Well better is relative, the blackjack has a 'better' price so it depends what you're wanting I suppose! Zelos 48 is a very nice craft indeed though
