In this video i am showing how i am going through the steps of creating a procedural material. There are two things that i feel is most important. First is to think about the history of the specific material and what has happened to it. Has it been dragged across the dirt or been sitting on a shelf? Second is to always add imperfections. Can be big scratch or just subtle waves on the surface.
