I worked in a factory for 25 years and watching these production lines makes my heart sing with joy. The incredible precision and care with which the products are made is truly outstanding and a treat to watch.

@Goldiemum *_ What's also great about Japan is that they give SENIORS a chance to work, unlike Western countries that 'Discard' older folks that are still capable of years and years of contributing to any economy! _*

At 12:40 Is there a reason why the compression cutter don't have like a 7 to 10 on the cutter frame at one compression to reduce time for cuts and wear on the person and machine while improving productivity. If the die was connected by a side and reversed for each one it would reduce product waist as well! If there is enough space for a one cut, keep that for only those times! Great video!

The sterling fork production at the end looks very caring, including right to the very end with the superly massively thick cardboard box they choose to ship the forks in, We or I never see such a thick cardboard box in western Canada and that's years of buying on super skinny now stupidly less material Amazon boldly needs to write on their definitely easy puncture Socalled boxes. And Amazon pays for cheaping out on stupid recycled paper boxes by all the shipping damage encures and ship's the very same skinny box again until it finally hits home without shipping steel tin forklift grunt damage. Japanese seem to care more in there sweat shop factories.

Yeah, more product, more profits, more product, more profits, fire people, replace with cheaper immigrant labour, have an IPO, get investors, move the entire production facility to india/china/bangladesh to boost profits, quarterly revenue, predictions, production facility too expensive, get into the sweatshop business, source materials from war-torn coutnries, more product, more profits, introduce new product, based on oil-derived plastic that leeches into water, more product, more profits. And then throw hands in the air and ask screaming into the void why the world is fucked.
