The manufacturing process of copper watering cans that are ordered from all over the world.
Due to its popularity, there is a 3-year wait.
This is how a one-of-a-kind watering can, perfected through extensive research for bonsai, is made.

Sir - can I ask, other than tradition, why use the soldering process shown? Wouldn't a more modern soldering process using an electric iron or gas flame with a filler rod be far more efficient and provide the same or superior joint?

As a certified welder, and moonshiner, this guys wasting his talent on watering cans. This man would be filthy rich if he made stills. Home distilling is making a HUGE comeback. A basic alembic still runs about $300-$400. Mark Wayne ramsey, who's been working with copper his whole life, couldn't even match this level of craftsmanship.

The great thing about this store is that they will repair any broken raindrops no matter how old they are. I think it is an added value unique to a masterpiece made with a manufacturing method that does not change with the times and technology.

Like all things Japanese the workmanship is exquisite. So much hand work, makes it a thing of art and beauty. In case anyone wants to know the price, it costs GBP 147 or USD $186 each in stainless, brass, or copper. A shop in the UK has them in stock. I will be sticking with the $5 IKEA watering can. This is a rich man's hobby.
