1. Draw your shape. 2. Go to Layer that shape is on and duplicate. 3. Go to duplicated Layer. 4. Adjustments 5. Gaussian Blur and blue the Shape. 6. Repeat to get brighter glow. Hope that helps.

@@meemoo7 Shape just means whatever it is that you drew. You can literally make anything glow by just duplicating it, adding a gaussian blur, and repeating until it's bright enough for your liking.

When you go to Gaussian blur due you press pencil or layer cause i have an Apple Pencil but it doesn’t work

@@CleodeNile85 use layer, pencil is using it as a drawing tool. Layer would affect the whole layer (I’m bad at explaining I’d just mess around with it)

This is the best tutorial I’ve seen for making a glow effect in procreate! I usually don’t like tutorials where there’s no talking to explain the steps, but this one was pretty easy to follow, even without talking. Thank you!

Best glow video for procreate. You are awesome Muzenik. But I think this video needs detailed instructions, Ive already seen your other glow video, and even is not at good as this, that one has great instructions. Thanks for both of them, you really teached me a lot.

Can someone explain why do we need the layer filled with blue? Just to add a nice shade to the whole drawing or does it have to do something with the glowing effect?

It’s not necessary but I do it to make the glow look bright and more sharp, try both to see the difference

Yeah or you can just use the light pen brush in luminance Which is a lot easier

Yeah i'm agreed. So i changed the video speed to 0.75 or 0.5. It's better. But yea when you're a total newbie like me, without explainations it still hard to understand well.
