I like it more than Latata. Latata is good but it feels a bit more like...trendy?? in terms of its production. Hann feels like art.

Personally, I thought g-idle wouldn't be able to top Latata because IT WAS SO GOOD. But when Hann came out, I was shook. I have never heard a song like this before. I can't even point out what genre it is or what era it reminds me of(I think late 90s or early 00s maybe???) Soyeon slaying again with her rap verses, Minnie has that beautiful distinctive voice and pronunciation that quickly grabs your attention, Shuhua FINALLY has lines and her voice is so soothing, MIYEON REALLY WRECKED ME IN THIS COMEBACK I LOVE HER VOICE SO MUCH THAT PRECHORUS IS AMAZING, Yuqi proving to us that she's not only cute but she's fierce and sexy as well AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON MY BIAS AKA GODDESS SOOJIN BECAUSE SHE SNAPPEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD her voice during the verse is so deep and beautiful and sexy and soothing and relaxing and smooth and amazing and sksldkdk The choreo is beautiful as well, I love how they want for more delicate and smooth moves instead of very sharp and knife-like The music video is GORGEOUS and that Ancient Greece theme is amazing AND YES I AM GREEK AND I FELT SO HAPPY This song has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it I CAN'T GET THAT WOO WOOO WOOOOO OUT OF MY HEAD I'm beyond satisfied with this comeback and I'm proudly announcing that g-idle is my second favourite girl group, just after Red Velvet

not gonna lie was anxiously waiting for your reaction to their new song!! absolutely loved it :’) hann for me was better than latata, and i was afraid it was gonna be like latata, but i’m glad hann was not the case, i love so much more. but i do agree, theyre creating a brand, their sound for themselves. everyone looked so good too esp soojin, her part is my favorite. i hope you do listen to gidle’s sidetracks, i think their sidetracks are pretty impressive for a group that recently debuted!

I liked this song after listening to only 10 seconds, lmao, I think it's much better than Latata, but it's just my preference. I didn't understand the hype about this group when they debuted, but now I do and I'll probably stan them, they are amazing.

As I said on Patreon: I have to disagree with you on the set design needing to be more full. I believe it hammers home the theme of isolation in the song. The moving on, being strong, independence. I think it's reflected well in the set design. The lack of color could arguably tie in to that, talking about how the blue has become sad, mentions of "cold", love is darkness and can't be turned back. Just my thoughts. With that said, I'm glad you seemed to enjoy the song otherwise! Thanks for the great reaction as usual! :)

At first I thought this was a good song. But after listening to it more and more I think they blew expectations away. I love this song. The thing that gets me hyped every time is when one of the girls says "HANN" theres something about it that as a musician I melt every time I hear it. the auto tune helps it too

This is the second group I'm stanning after BTS. I rarely stan other groups but there's something about G-idle that makes me attracted especially since Alone is a really good song like it's so light, smooth and a flowy song and the lyrics, the dance, the vocal and the visual is just 110/10

Hann is still my fav to date. Other title tracks and especially Lion & Put It Straight, were close to dethroning it, but Hann, on many different levels was just perfect for me. MV, music, live stage, choreo, outfits, were all just stunning. And small details too. Minnie's whistle "hann" right before the chorus the foot sweep and foot slide during the chorus, but unfortunately, this can only be seen in the dance practice video Shuhua's solo dance during the whistle I'm just a Hann fanboy.

Yes the name is so confusing especially for foreign viewers ahah I was originally pronouncing it like gee idle but I believe it’s just idle with a silent g... I don’t get the silent g tho.. I absolutely love what this group is doing! The music feels sultry and vibrant which is refreshing from the sweet and cute concepts (which I still do enjoy)

The G is silent, I believe it was Yuqi that explained it in en episode of After School Club that it's a play on words in korean. Something about it meaning a "group of individuals"? I will have to rewatch it, but I like this song! Soyeon is a talented songwriter, rapper and performer. I remember her off of Unpretty Rapstar and I was looking forward to whatever she was doing next. When LATATA came out, I remember hearing that same, nasally toned voice and cadence! IT was hard to recognize her with makeup and without a ball cap lol Anyways, love the react PD from one trans peep to another.

Much like you I wasn't too keen on the song at first but after listening to it a million times it really grew on me. I definitely like it more than their debut song.

soyeon said in an interview that when she writes music for idle, she thinks of her members and what would fit them, hence why they’ve managed to create a good soundscape for their group!

actually, the correct pronunciation is "g idle" not "gidle", but n e way i agree with what you said, i think this song is a little bit more sofisticated and it's really different from latata. I liked it a lot.

I also noticed how the song kept going low instead of high and it gave it a very special touch that I really really love. This song just made it to my Top 3 favorite comebacks of the year so far, along with BTS’s Tear album and Mamamoo’s « Egotistic ». It’s so haunting and captivating, both visually and musically. I love all the themes that they chose and the chorus immediately got stuck in my head. I love dark/edgy/elegant concepts and they definitely did a bang-up job of it, which is impressive for such a young group. And I totally agree : Hann is different enough from Latata so that you don’t feel bored or underwhelmed, it keeps you interested, but it’s not too different from Latata either so that it still feels consistent with their previous work and you can kinda map out the main style that they’re trying to go for, their branding as you said. These girls are very promising.
