This is Jimin's own statement to his haters and other personal issues he has been burdened with for a long time. I was told that he is the one who has received more death threats and hate than the rest of the members. So sickening! I am so happy for him right now. One person posted that they went to L.A. for this and used the same Gospel choir that they used with "ON - Kinetic Manifesto Film" and they also used choreographer Sienna Lalau and her dancers from The Lab - Sienna choreographed "ON - Kinetic Manifesto Film. She has done several BTS choreos and she was one of the dancers along with her troupe The Lab on J-Hope's Lollapalooza Music Festival show in Chicago last August. Thanks guys, this was great!

The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this makes me that much more excited, waiting in anticipation for release of the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” on March 24, along with his other, main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! This isn't nominally, the kind of song I'd like and I didn't think I liked it when I first heard it. I've heard it several times and my view changed to where I liked it (that's happened with BTS songs before). But I hadn't thought it had changed so radically until I was surprised at my vehemence when I saw some of the criticism as if Jimin shouldn't be allowed to decide how his voice should sound or the kind of song he should do. My reaction to that was "Y'all want them to be authentic, but only the authentic you had in mind? That's not how it works." Since I've woken up the past two days with the song playing in my brain, I'm guessing I'm fully immersed in it now.

Sienna Lalau of The Lab choreographed this as well as ON Kinetic Manifesto! You've got to see the practice video of this -- while the MV is incredibly atmospheric, I kind of think I like the practice video even better because seeing Jimin contrasted against the incredible background dancers in full light is amazing. The beats hit even harder, Jimin's controlled power is even more apparent, and it's cool to realize how three dimensional the choreo actually is.

This is a masterpiece.

this is the last track on the album so there is no light song after this i think. i think jimin wanted to tell everyone about his past struggles. but idk if he only recently broke free or if it was back when he did black swan or filter. the timeline is difficult for me. but jimin has talked alot about his past struggles when people mocked him for his voice and many other things. and he said he keeps thinking negatively about himself but at other times he said that he was not like that anymore so i am really not sure

Hi Josh & Brad, Josh was right that the choreo is familiar with the On KMF bec. Enna Lalau also choreographed this song. I was also surprised to hear a lot of Fs in the lyrics and I heard this was banned in a KBS show in SK.. But I'd like to think of it as Jimin's artistic freedom to be able to express his true feelings in this song. So I think at this point it doesn't matter bec. Jimin has the world stage to debut this song. He's actually debuting his album at the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon tomorrow!!! IMO, Jimin is like JHope in a way when they released their solo albums bec they served totally different vibes from what they have been identified with as BTS and I'd say it's a pleasant change 😊.
