THE STORY OF A NEW WORLD offers a constructive and optimistic perspective on the future. Besides technological solutions for the climate and sustainability crisis, the docu-fictional impactfilm puts great emphasis on the necessity of a collective mind shift. While this is an aspect of sustainability that many people, especially activists, can agree on, it intuitively does not seem like a topic which is widely backed up by the scientific community. Our ambassador Prof. Dr. Christine Wamsler taught us differently! She is researching on how the inner/emotional dimension affects our behaviour in terms of sustainability.

Prof. Dr. Christine Wamsler is Professor of Sustainability Science at Lund University Centre for Sustainability Studies (LUCSUS). She is also the director of the Contemplative Sustainable Futures Program (www.contemplative-sustainable-futures.com). The aim of this program is to create space and opportunities for learning, networking and knowledge development on the role of inner dimensions and transformation for sustainability.
