We have to stop bashing the Bible in scriptures, the Bible call us equal in our own ways women and men are made differently that doesn't mean we are not equal. According to scriptures we should spoil our wife's "in love", no such thing as bashing our wife's in the Bible the Bible talks good about women men being the head of the household doesn't mean man we are in charge. We have to read and ask the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of him ( Christ in us) Ephesians 5:25: "For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church.
