I'm imagining a reverse perspective comic with moonpaw, where a group of bandits come across moonpaw starring blankly into the distance not moving a muscle. The group decides to approach moonpaw and the bandit whose perspective we follow try's in vain to stop them before giving in to his instinct for self preservation and running to hide. Over his shoulder we see in the air above Moonpaw the reversed block text "THE BANDITS". Hiding behind a tree the terrified bandit listens as the carnage begins, he hears the screams of his fellow men, the destruction. And with the sound of a beam smash half of the tree is gone and a chunk of his shoulder with it, but he holds in his scream. Tears streaming from his eyes praying to what ever gods might listen. "Yes!" Silence. Peeking out from his spot he looks to see an area filled with the viscera of those who were once his companions. And standing silently amongst it all in a low t-pose is moonpaw. The bandit knew not how long he held his breath, but slowly and carefully he began to move. Eye's never leaving the still figure, this causes him to stumble over a severed limb. Startled he looks down for but a moment, when his gaze returns to the monster his blood runs cold. Moonpaws head is turned to face him, and block letters hang in the air above his head... "THE SURVIVOR"

Finally relevant again so I can use a tiny part of my art degree! Last time Julia showed us some weird little round blobs with arms and legs sticking out of them. These are what we in Norway call "Hodefotinger" or literally "Headfoots"! (I've also since learned Germans use the same term) This is a very early stage in how children learn to see and understand the world through drawing! Around the age 3-5 they learn to grasp the basic shapes with squares, circles and triangles. So when they draw they use mostly use those shapes! They only memorize the "important" or most attention-grabbing parts of a human at first. The face obviously, and arms and legs. They tend to forget the torso, but that usually comes around after a couple years. By age 10 they usually have that bit down AND have learned organic shapes! These Headfoots are nearly universal across the world, but as far as I am aware it's only researched enough to even have a name in Scandinavia and Germany. Edit: Actually just looked up the Wikipedia entry, it finally has an English version under "Tadpole Person" now! It didn't have that last time I checked last time Drawfee did this :D

Here's a random idea: How about you collect phrases in which people use 'major' and general' - 'major' as in 'significant' and 'general' as in 'generic' - and draw them as millitary characters. Example: "You can find this show on any major streaming platform!" -> What does Major Streaming Platform look like? "It's not perfect, but the general idea of it is fine." -> What does General Idea look like?

Reminded me of at one point I came up with the idea for a character named General Generic. Also back when I used to play Animal Jam (back when it was still browser), to name your character it was like a 3 word name you could choose out of a selection of words, and I happened to notice all 3 groups of words had Major in it, thus leading to me naming my character, a pink and blue tiger, Major Majormajor.

I used to do the same thing of drawing directly from a reference with x men comics and my golden sun 2 players guide. For me though I started to feel discouraged because I was "just copying" and eventually stopped drawing. I've always enjoyed Julia's art style in these videos so it felt nice to hear her talk about a similar situation and how it didn't stop her from doing art.

I love the idea of moonpaw being like some newborn eldiritch being that the people of their planet are terrified of and try to kill, like the idea that she has no real interaction with other people other than self defense and because of that he is kinda insane but also very child-like

Moonpaws dead eyed stare, my god… Great work on this one. I’m absorbing Nathan’s rain and lighting tricks and Jacob’s posing and stylizing from this episode. And Julia’s art is insane as per usual.

As someone with IBS, I have liked the video, subscribed and rung the bell, subbed on Twitch, subbed on the patreon, and bought Drawfee merch from every drop. My bowels are so healthy now. You might as well say I *formerly* had IBS!

Throughout Jacob's drawing I was thinking "A heavyset IBS-themed motivational speaker? That's just Justin McElroy." and then totally unrelated you mentioned Griffin McElroy later in the episode. SPOOKY!

Banger Episode! Nathan - Dinosaurs! Jacob - Cool character design! Karina - Fan Service! (Moonpaw!❤) Julia - Gundam! Kid-Nathan's drawings had very high levels of enthusiasm and excitement for Dinosaurs and Adult-Nathan's Drawing not only matched that but also had technical skill, composition, feeling of depth and atmosphere to the same very high levels as well. Kid-Julia's Gundam drawing was just so amazing and Adult-Julia's drawing excelled even more.

The dino furthest on the left in Nathan's, one of the velociraptors, looks so much like an old piece of paleoart that I really like.

Just started working as a substitute teacher in a kindergarten and one of the kids asked me to draw dinosaurs. After watching Nathan I am ashamed and motivated to draw more at the same time. Inspiring work, love you guys🥳🙏🏼❤️
