Wow, What a song...System of a Down in BYOB. This professional musician guest comes over and provides some amazing insight into the dynamics of the music itself. Then, just like every song I have reacted to by SOAD we have to discuss the message behind it. What an adrenaline rush in the message. So intense and so right in how they feel. The leaders we have are not leaders anymore. They are cowards who must rule over the people for their own pleasure and fulfilments of their egos and other greedy agendas. There is no more "HONOR". Mostly lies. Do you want to know how I really feel? Lol
Great Song!

"[The drumming] is like a machine gun dude!" That's a clever observation, I never put that together. The instrumentals themselves are meant to match the themes of warfare and violence.

4:00 I did this kind of vocalization for 13 years live. You can't track it, like ya'll suggested, you have to actually do it. So, it's important to use the correct techniques that do not harm your vocal cords. If you were doing it in a way that you cannot repeat night after night on tour, you're doing it in an unhealthy way and even your limited use of it in the studio will damage your voice.

it's tricky. I figured it out recently-somewhat difficult with a lower baritone range like mine to hit it the same way! but what you said was just like any kind of vocals. either you're ruining it, or you're making sure to not shred it. in this way, it's more about sliding between the falsetto and the normal range, while staying high in each range. essentially, he's staying up there and controlling voice cracks. or that's how I've managed it. if you'd have any words of wisdom about it love to hear it! peace man.

Love the reactions.Bring Your Own Bombs. The song was protesting the Afghanistan war. The lie that was being told from the tablecloth was the lines "everybody come to the party, dancing in the desert, blowing up sunshine" making it sound not like a war but a party. Lying to the poor and sending them, the president never fighting himself.

Happy New Year!!! Holiday song for you! Diana Ankudinova - What a Wonderful World The reaction bloggers have already called this cover the best performance of this legendary Louis Armstrong song! You have hardly heard a voice of such rare beauty in your life. Enjoy! She is called the queen of goosebumps, a unique voice - contralto with polyphonic overtones. Full vocal range - 4 octaves (E3-E7). Best contralto voice in the world! She has insane and unique vocals and great stage presence and her performances have over 10 thousand reactions (all of them are collected in my playlists).

until watching a couple different reactions to it from musicians, i didn't even notice that the drummer is playing a triplet beat through the verses/bridges. This is why I love channels like this :) Pretty much everyone i know has already heard this song and just about any other I could throw at them, so it's always great to see and hear someone's first impressions. System of a down's music kept me from going full republican. I was raised in a very liberal appilachian household, i became apart of the American military industrial complex, i think allot of what most Americans believe is that war isn't justifiable in most cases. left or right, we can all agree that if we can keep our children from dieing for a war without principles or cause, we should. Nobody wants war. I was indoctrinated from 9/11, i grew up seeing the narrative. Today i stand in the middle politically. Serj's song Empty Walls sums up allot for us veterans.
