yes supermarkets dictate to the farmers the cost yet supermarkets profit from them and in the end when the farmers had enough they throw them a life line and buy them out .then the farmers gratefull that hes still in work with a few quid in his pocket . i say its about time the farmers stood there ground and fought back and told the supermarkets no there not playing there silly games

Trouble is they buy all the milk every last litre. I agree with what you say but if farmers are stuck with left over milk it can’t be washed down the drain. Farmers get well ripped off.

Another great video Chris, it was good to see you getting stuck in to a few different jobs. Farming is a way of life, it is difficult for them. Unfortunately super markets dictate the prices. Its no wonder so many farmers give up, it is sad because it is a way of life for them and when we have no more farmers then all our food will have to be imported. That will be a sad day, not to mention bloody expensive. Keep up the struggle Chris.....

I miss doing all this when i was a PSV mechanic back in the 90's/2000's. The days when drivers would turn over "S" cams and lock the brakes up. Mostly as far away from the depot as possible 🤣

The big supermarket chains have played a big part in completely wrecking the farming industry and smaller grocery stores! Funny how they dictate how much they'll pay for milk but you won't see your milk getting any cheaper, in fact mine has gone up nearly 50p in the last year or so!
