Yep, he avoids eye (camera) contact a lot, during interviews. Sometimes when they start interviewing him it's cute to see him looking straight into camera and once he realizes he's live, he immidiately looks away. :)

@@ramsayas7004 There's no difference between Olek and Oleg pronunciation (at least in Polish) so it's easy to be mistaken, especially for non-polish/Slavic speakers

Has Erik commented on the Taylor Sander situation? IMO it was a pretty childish and crappy way to end his indoor volleyball career. Which sucks bc he played at an all time great level but this isn’t how all time greats behave.

@@benbarcados3328 but is Tay completely leaving indoor volley? he hasn't made an official statement yet I guess. but I'm hoping he comes back for Russia 2022. Now that Aaron Russell is back, it would be a sad to see Sander go. Anderson, Christenson, Sander, Russel, Holt and Shoji is their strongest lineup.

Yeah, before he went crazy, refused to fulfill his contract and decided he'd rather surf the ocean and maybe sometimes play beach volley than be a pro.

@@Rin13600 In summer 2020 Taylor Sander signed a 2 year contract with Skra Bełchatów, he was injured at the time so he rehabilitated at the club and debuted in december last year. Skra coaches helped him with coming back to form and he played rather well until april when he suffered another injury during a game and was out till the end of the season. When club season ended he went to the team USA camp and after olympics he supposed to be back at Bełchatów, but he went missing. No one from the club could contact him from weeks, he didn't even answer calls from his own manager. Then suddenly Taylor was announced to participate in a beach volley tournament and it was clear that he's refusing to fulfill his contract with Skra. Last month, after Taylor's absence during league inauguration made it certain he's not coming back, Skra decided to sue him for breach of contract. No wonder club's management and fans are pissed off. They expected 2 years of Taylor Sander but got only 4 months of play from him and now he's disrespecting them, the club and the league. Skra had to contract last minute a new outside hitter (Dick Kooy) because of Taylor Sander's childish antics, which meant extra costs for the club. This whole Taylor Sander saga pretty much ruined Skra's championship ambitions for this and last season.
