Professor Pew was kind enough to send me a bottle of their CLP. In this video we take a look at this firearm cleaning product and use it to clean a pistol and puma folding knife.

It is nice of you to honor your father by preserving his tools. I am sure he is smiling down on you and your family.

Cool getting that bottle of cleaner. It looks like it works really well. That is a great little knife your dad had and it cleaned it up well too. As for the comment of it is all plant extract so no need to wear gloves - I hope he realizes that poison Ivy is an all natural plant oil too.

Thanks, that was good. I have a garage gun, too, but I'm in SoCal where historically we don't get much humidity. I did acquire a couple of used guns that have seen much use and abuse, and show the wear and tear of daily carry. I went to a local gun shop to get Kroil to clean the rust off, and the clerk also sold me a bottle of Boeshield T-9; "A multipurpose spray that provides superior corrosion protection, waterproof lubrication, and moisture displacement. Developed by the Boeing Company." I applied that last to give the bare metal some extra protection, and several years later it still seems to be working. Why don't you review that little Taurus pistol sometime and report back on how the Professor Pew CLP seems to be working. I'll forward this along.

Thanks Frank! I actually sent the Taurus back in. I forwarded them the link to my video so they could fully understand the issue. Lets see what they do. I may need to look into that Boeshield. I still have some Kroil somewhere I think. Good stuff but I haven;t used it in a while.

Sounds like great stuff. They just came out with a Professor Pew knife oil that I am going to be trying.
