THE FIGHT FOR KRAKOA HAS BEEN LOST! Ten years ago, the mutants returned from their exile to try and reclaim the Earth from the forces of Orchis. They failed. Now, within the victorious Orchis with their gauntlet choking the world, Nimrod and Omega Sentinel put their plan within a plan into action. They are to summon their binary god to consume everything in their accession. All that stands between them is the X-Men. What can they do? They're the X-Men. They'll find a way. That's their power. So begins a story beyond time and space, with the rise of powers beyond our petty human intelligence. From writer Kieron Gillen (IMMORTAL X-MEN, UNCANNY X-MEN) and artist R.B. I've been saying this for years, the humans never felt the type of pain the mutants have felt for such a long time. I want humankind to finally understand what its like to be on the brink of extinction, they deserve to feel that type of pain and then only then they can understand mutants.

Every time the X-men are in a war or something it always has something to do with humans mostly, attacking them whether it's with mass weapons of destruction, viruses, or machines. Humans haven't felt what's it like to have everything taken away like the X-Men. Hell, humans never even appreciated the mutants but rather take their medicines, bitch, and complain about mutants taking over Mars...a planet that was made safe to live on by the mutants.

I think that adds realism ngl, there are humans in the real world facing genocide and erasing of their culture, but yet so many of us do nothing about it even those who have been in the same position

I believe Charles is doing what is necessary to gain the trust of the machines. Then he will make his play. He can be ruthless but he's not a mass murderer. He understands that to sacrifices have to be made and he's willing to do that to get in on the inside so he can do maximum damage to the machines. Even the dominion understands that Charles is fiercely loyal to his dream.

@@absolonmercator1211 no, he's not. He's decided to stay away from all this stuff going on and is happily with his girlfriend. Legion doesn't give a flying f*** about mutant kind nor will Apocalypse and Magneto work together. The former will go back to Arakko with the Arakii mutants once all this is said and done!

They are already heavily hinting that Xavier is trying to win the trust of ORCHIS so he can gain their trust and then backstab them. I think Moira is also going to double-cross the Dominion and ORCHIS. I luv how Xavier managed to dupe and use Mother Righteous not once, but twice.

I'm sure Xavier will do some things that will expand or skirt the limits of what he'll do but I think in the end he had a long game plan. If not he will be presented a situation or apex moment and his decision will be the right one and save the day. What I'd like to see, Xavier be that guy making the holy s**t decisions and moves that he would never do. Not to take him to a point of no return but I want a Holy S**t mic drop moment from Charles.

No, he's not. He's Charles Xavier. Enigma is the OG Nathaniel Essex who died but cloned himself into 4 people and has become an AI God (Dominion) via knowledge farmed from said clones, so no, Charles is not the Enigma!

One should remember they underlined very on in Hickman's run that this version of Charles Xavier is NOT the one we are used to. Moira was very careful in changing him into something more..useful to her ideas. Of coruse, even then, his "dark side" has popped up waaaaaaaaayyy too often to be ignored. Just say no to psi-editing yourself, kids, mmkay? then again, my personal theroy is he's been the Celestials butt-monkey pretty much from conception. remember: ALL mutants are a the results of a Celestial experiment.

I feel like the topic of Dominion has been greatly nerfed with each appearance. It’s somewhat anticlimactic seeing it go from this unstoppable entity that’s beyond god level and is now something that can be destroyed multiple ways. Though the Phoenix is most definitely a threat to Dominion because it’s a being that’s connected to the Multiverse. The Phoenix is far beyond the power of gods.

As we know, in jean’s book phoenix she will travel to a black hole to stop a big menace. I don’t think that all the dominions will be defeated in rise of x 5 and as we know jed mckay is the new x books coordinator and he is planing in the avengers book big thinks. I wouldn’t be surprised if the final threat to defeat in the from the ashes era are the dominions because the phoenix is resurrecting and they will al come to destroy the phoenix.

The Phoenix is supposed to be the sum total of life in the universe. If life exists. The Phoenix exits. Therfore the only way there'd be no Phoenix was of there were no dominions. It makes no sense.

Keep in mind charles and to an extent Magneto allowed Sinister a racist clone who is sol bent to reach a god lvl status, Sebastian Shaw a two face sell out, Beast a psychopath who banish his emotions to run a task force. This os their fault for, the mutants fault for setting themselves up for failure. Granted thats how the story goes which was an amazing ride (for storm)

It's time to admit that Charles is the real problem... always has been. How many times has he lied, tried to kill his own,has to stay his hand from going after the young girls? He's a terrible father he's also just picked up and left, going across the universe with his girlfriend leaving the teams of children he's turned into soldiers to fight for his dream. I'm sure some of them would've been happy at home
