How To Remove 2009 - 2013 Kia Soul Tail Light - Change Replace Brake Reverse Lamp Bulb Replacement

Perform the following procedure on your Kia Soul to remove and replacement the tail light assembly including the brake lights or reverse lights.
1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the 3 screws from the Kia Soul tail light assembly.
3. Pull the taillamp assembly out of the Kia body.
4. Disconnect the lamp wiring harness.
5. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull it out.
6. Remove the light bulb from the socket.
7. Install the new light bulb.
8. Push the bulb socket in and turn it clockwise.
9. Reverse Steps to reinstall the lamp assembly to your Kia Soul

I'm in shock at how easy it is. I have a break light out in mine and I thought it was going to involve going at it from the inside of the cargo area and removing side panels and such. This is by far the easiest light bulb change I have ever had to do! Thx for the upload!!

Just wanted to say thank you for simple to the point demonstration on how to do this. Because I just got pulled over and I got a warning. I have the bulbs, but I was making this way too hard in my head. So I'm so glad to see that. Someone knows how to make a short video that gets right down to the issue. I used a LED 921 lamp for a replacement backup light, made a huge difference.
