We almost didn't tell you about this spot as it's been one of Angela's favourite spots for years but here we go...
Proizd Island can be reached by ferry from Vela Luka and the island's beaches are quiet, clear and pristine.

Guys, thanks a lot. I thought I knew everything about my country but definitely learned something new. Honestly, I never ever heard of Proizd islet and it's a real hidden gem. Great videos, congrats.

and that is why I prefer rocky beaches to sand beaches

Me too! Geoff likes the sand but I (Angela) don't like it as much as the rocks. It just feels cleaner, no sand in your towels and bathing suit, the water is so clear because no sand clouds it and I love laying on a warm rock like a lizard, lol 🦎

@@PureDetour years and years ago I ended up on the island of Lopud, not too far from Dubrovnik, on a sandy beach, and it was windy, and the sand ended up in my sandwiches, and my bathing suit, and my eyes, and my mouth....you get the point, and this is my only memory of that beach.....no problems like this on the rocks or pebbles hahaha....thank you for helping me discover my own country....i'm so happy you're making beautiful memories

father.....German-Austrian-Slovenian.....Mother Croatian all the way...5 generaations.....I am Nederlander by choice....got there when I was 21 and stayed.....you cant chose where you come from but you can chose where you end up.......I chose Nederland....

To my knowledge, no, not legally. But that doesn't mean you can't hide in the bushes somewhere and get left. What happens to you the next day may not be what you were hoping for.

😂sorry! I’ve been going to Proizd since I was a kid because my Mom was born in Vela Luka, so I was reluctant to tell anyone too. But it’s just so stunning I had to share. I apologize!
