Today we discovered Vela Luka, which is a charming port town on the island of Korcula. There was so much to see and do, we couldn't believe it. The massive cave caught our attention, and then we explore the town, the mosaics, had an incredible lunch at a secret spot, and then packed up to head back to Zagreb.

Hi! Greetings a from a Canadian 🇨🇦 living in Austria. First off, great video! No idea why I never came across your videos as my wife, dog and I go to Croatia almost each year for summer vacation and we always check out KZfaq for ideas of where to go. Our story is basically the same as yours however 🇨🇦+🇦🇹. I've been in Austria since 2003. Sooooo this year it's the island of Korcula for us 😄🌞👍

Next year definetly try to visit the Island of Cres and a beautiful small town of Martinščica on the south side of the island. Great for total relaxation and most houses are literally at the sea front. This year we vacationed there and literally didn't have to restart our car until we were leaving...

Hi Sarah and family! Great video and yet again another day in paradise! 8:12 I wonder how you find all these special places. You really have the magic touch for chosing those perfect setting where even fish sticks from the supmermarket would be delicious. Again you're leaving me hungry, craving for these fish! Yummy! 😊

😭😭😭 i almost ended as Vela luka son in law....how are the prices these days? You walked by Oliver's house like 100 times....and that is Peter Kresimir The Great ferry if i am not mistaken. On the left side of Ošjak,that little island in front of Vela luka,was fishing company that produced caned fish. The new dock is going to be build on that spot I miss being there.And i miss her too...to bad it didnt turn out for me as i wanted

@@RoyalCroatianTours zadnji put sam bio prije 10god i cijene u kafićima su bile ko u zagrebu.osim sto Žuju nemres nigdje popit u Vela luci osim iz ducana. Toliko nas vole....nas zagrepcane...😂...pitao sam zasto nema ozujske i rekli su mi da je dostava skupa.jeftinije im je iz karlovca narucit pivu nego iz zagreba. Da li škver...Greben jos uvijek postoji?

Did anyone suggest visiting the beautiful little isle of Proizd?...Just am inexpensive 15 min boat ride away. Looked like a fantastic restaurant!....Will try to find it next trip...Always seem to choose the excellent pizza in a place on the harbor....

@@RoyalCroatianTours The cave was a good choice since it's so unique....and you can go to Proizd next time!...It's usually absent of tourists, but especially now I imagine...There is a cafe/restaurant there only open during the summer, but don't know what's going on there now.......Your kids will love the beaches there...on their very own private island!...I'm in the USA, but the few times I visited Croatia, I made sure to visit Vela Luka & Proizd. You're so lucky you can go anytime!

Great idea dressing kids in matching clothes when out and about. I did this as a safety measure: much quicker to describe the outfit of the child who's wondered off. Luckily it never happened.
