Great job! I have been enjoying your videos for the last couple years! I am a T-3 araplegic and something like this would be a game changer in my life! I love to hunt and fish but trying to push my wheelchair through mud and sand is almost an impossible task and causes so much fatigue by the time I am able to get to where I will hunt my body is so worn out that I can't enjoy the hunt. Keep up the awesome work!!!

Being disabled and unable to walk any distances without incredible discomfort and risking further injury to my spine makes me wish that I had both the skills and the tools to create something like this. It would make my life so much easier and enjoyable as I would be able to get out and about in the countryside with my family. Awesome work and an amazing build so far, I truly can’t wait to see the next part of the build. 🤘🏻

@marcothehammer
@marcothehammer 2 жыл бұрын
That sounds great! But how will you maintain traction on icier surfaces? And a relative question, how much will this little monster weigh?! I work for a commercial property maintenance company. In the rare situation that we have enough snow to require management in the Seattle WA area, I operate a skid-steer machine. It doesn’t have a plow but we use a large bucket to scoop and dump snow into an out of the way place. Typically, I have to rely upon the sheer weight of the machine to keep it moving when it hit it’s limits for a load. We just use the same “tractor” type tires, without tracks, studs, or chains. It does the job and it’s a blast operating it in the snow. (as long as I stay dry!) Good luck with your project and record your procedures for sharing and/or ideas for improvement.

Thanks for the inspiration, I'm paraplegic and have been thinking about building something like this but on a bigger scale if I get the chance to have little workshop and the tools needed. Taking tracks and engine from a snowmobile, then you get a variator and revers gear. Would be like a mini ripsaw or a crosskart on tracks.

My brother in law had a wheelchair that had tracks on it. It looked like a blast to ride. I will see if I can find one of the pictures i have of it . Im no longer on speaking terms with him since they got divorced. Him and my sister were on his Harley and they hit a truck head on back in 2016. Definately changed both of their lives.

Growing up there was the group that played with Legos, TinkerToys, Erector, LincolnLogs, etc.... They moved to messing with their bikes, BMX, 10-speeds, Mountain bikes, etc...... Then came go-karts, mini-bikes, mopeds..... Cars, Trucks, tractors, skid steers...... Now, we have the grown up versions of those kids, making all the crazy shit we dreamed up but these dudes are making these things for real!!! It's just amazing what they do, but not overly impossible which is the greatest part. Sure these projects are extremely complex but I bet majority of the viewers are sitting here saying "I can do that" but why? When these guys are doing it and entertaining all of us. That's cool to see you protecting your metal cutting tools with oil, so much Dy project without this essential step... Indeed really cool project also !

Very good at using your eyes. Once in a while saw a tape measure. But no micrometers. Is this how they make a ripsaw? Thanks for showing us your skills. I love all your tools in this video. Editing skills are great to. Thanks for everything
