Dude I am SO HAPPY I found your video. I have an 02 Honda cbr600 F4i and sadly had a spark plug loosen and blow itself out. I bought a used engine and did an engine swap so I could keep stunting. Now FOR YEARS I've debated on A.) buying a new head and all the glorious labor associated w/ this choice, B.) Splitting the head from the case and helicoil from the underside up, or C.) Doing exactly what you did here, but using a 12mm spark plug and grinding down the sides of the 12mm spark plug nut to fit a 10mm spark plug socket bc a 12mm spark plug socket will NOT fit in the spark plug well. Thank you for finding out about that KTM plug having the exact specs needed when this repair has been performed. I am so glad I didnt make any impulsive decisions. I cant wait to get my OG cherry virgin engine finally reunited w its OG frame. THANK YOU BRO! Video 10/10 Tool Fabing 11/10

I liked the “need a tool, make a tool approach”. Sadly whilst I’m pretty handy, welding is not in my repertoire

😁if i was going to keep and ride this without a doubt I would definitely do that, Downside it will be auctioned off like most other builds and I assume the new owner may not be as awesome as us!

I have a yellow 03 cbr600rr with the same cylinder spark plug I'm also assuming it took the threads out haven't got to it yet plug the ignition coil is popped out and when pushed in and turned on it pops out

So far the new owner has put a lot of miles without a hiccup yet, so if that is indeed your problem it is a good fix

So I noticed the heat rating on the new spark plug is one lower than the oem Honda spark plug . Will this cause a problem or is ot close enough it will be fine

Any tips on how to get the middle frame bolt hole to be aligned?

they all must be loose to get them in then tighten last.

Engine ain't going up is taking the frame with it. Any tips? I am lifting it at the same spot.

its most likely catching around the rear shock area where the frame goes side to side

loosen lower engine mounts or you can shave the top, remember it came out so it has to go back

no one plug only though if your feeling lucky all 4 could be done
