I…AM…THE DARK SIDE !!!” 😈 Then he summons a capital-ship scale Force Storm vortex which begins annihilating the attacking Republic Fleet ! 💥 “The Power to Destroy a planet is insignificant..next to the Power of the Force…”

What if Dave and crew are adapting the Legends version of Palpatin cloning himself. What I mean is that the cloning process is a success, but it is sabotaged and he is left with the mutated and deformed Snoke. This would both give the Legends fans a nod while also connecting/fixing the Sequels. Or at least attempt to fix

This further confirms that Palpatine did not learn Darth Plagueis technique of controlling medichlorians to keep one from dying. Plagueis hated the idea of transferring essence from one body to another!!!

This just explains Star Wars was never about Luke but, its about how Palpatine survives for basically forever as a ruler of the Galaxy.

The story is cool I guess, but it makes no sense. Why wouldn't he just clone himself and keep clones of him scattered throughout the galaxy, on his ships, hidden nearby, or wherever. The clones had no M-count, but he certainly did. The story makes little sense as he'd be smart enough to know that.

Hey starwars theory, do you think that plaguies might have found a lingering snippet of tenebrae/ vitiate/ valkorians teaching or even communicated with the netherworld spirit of the immortal sith emperor and tried to not so much as discover but rediscover the secret of immortality

I know this is canon breaking stuff (because according to Mando S3 it seems like Hux still needs to complete the project), but I wonder if his force transfer at the end of the RotJ is the first time Palpatine had EVER done it. I wonder if it has happened before... and that we see such clone in RotJ. I know its wild and kinda messed up but it is a thought that crossed me.

The question we NEED to ask is if this project began with the beginning of the clone army or if sheev began after the fall of the republic. When we know the answer to that question we'll begin to see where it will go in the future

No, they are not looking for clones with high M counts. Like Hemlock said in season 2, only the Kaminoans have advanced cloning knowledge, and they are currently trying to figure out how clone blood can accept another individual's midichlorians (Palpatine's) with degrading or rejecting them. It seems clear now that you need a clone with 100% parent genetic material, which are quite rare in the galaxy. Theoretically Omega and Boba Fett are currently the only clones in the galaxy that can support Palpatine's blood. Now the Empire needs to learn how to create a new 100% genetic clone from a new donor, either Omega, or learn from Nala Se how to create a 100% template from Palpatine.

Imagine the sequel trilogy being a young Palpatine at age 20, lots of Anakin traits like long hair, dark features, darkness to his personality. But full Sith with every move and a crazy duellist. That would have opened so many doors for future media

M-Counts are not important in Disney cannon. Sabine with a M-Count of 0 is as strong as Ezra Bridger!

It would also make sense of the attitude of Luke in the sequel. Traumatised after he have fought again Palpatine in his young form between episode 6 and 7. He may have lost a lot of students there or even a loved one (not Mara Jade but someone like that) and then prefered to hide as he thinks there isn't any more hope to have

I think Palpatine should actually fail. We all expect him to succeed because "Somehow palpatine returned" and i mean his body was thrown down the Death star shaft and it exploded. The only way i could see him surviving that is if someone did what Ezra was going to do, take Kanaan out of the equation. But with Palpatine, it would work because taking him from that moment wouldn't cause problems. The only one i could see taking him from the equation is Abeloth, if she is indeed coming. Personally i think she'd been playing 4D Chess ever since the Father bit the dust in the Mortis arc, and what Anakin is doing now as the Chosen one is trying to fix the damage she has caused…and maybe will cause. We heard Ahsoka with Anakin in TROS. We've now seen them both in the world between worlds and it's been established that Palpatine knew about this place. I think Theory mentioned this, but i do think Peridia is actually Mortis. Its all going to connect, and maybe, when we hear ahsoka during TROS, if she's in the world between worlds this means it doesn't have to be the same timeline of TROS. I would even bet on it, that this story will overlap into a post sequel era. Imagine this, Abeloth needed the Jedi to empower Rey against Palpatine, so Rey could be a strong enough host to be controlled by Abeloth. Remember when The Father told Anakin time is different on Mortis? Maybe for Ahsoka, Anakin will continue her training as she's stuck in another galaxy. Where it might be a mere few years for ahsoka, for the OG galaxy, it could have been 25 years.

I wonder if Palpatine's original version of Project Necromancer was the creation of Anakin through the force and grooming him all those years to the point he became his apprentice, for the end goal of essence transferring himself into a prime Anakin Skywalker BEFORE Anakin wised up and struck down his master to take his place. This thought is giving me Dio-Johnathan Joestar vibes! Of course, this grand plan was ruined by Obi-Wan, whom he didn't think would be able to defeat Vader, and he was forced to pivot to cloning, because creating and grooming another Anakin would take too long, and he may ultimately die before then.

So since the clones were derived from Jango Fett does that mean he was force sensitive and with that Boba Fett? 🤔 And I think Palpatine should just clone a younger version of himself? Why rely on another body that could fail and end up an abomination(Snoke)? Stick with what works.

My theory is that the sith enternal existed within the empire. Some maybe even existed with the mountain laboratory. But the clones do a clone rebellion against the mountain and the empire, it becomes a big story, so palpatine takes out the clones in the mountain by destroying the facilities and moving his assets to exgol. We know palpatine clone escapes to make rey. So im guessing the palpatine clone could exist as a kid and be raised by the bad batch. Overall i hope this feels in the plot hole that was created in rebels between the empires treatment of clones during that time period vs their treatment of clones now.

To be fair its pulling on legends heavily again, where palpatine used to transfer into the body of clones of himself as he was deep in the dark side it rotted his body through.

What is about Project Necromancer?: *THEORY* What it is likely about is retrieving Palpatine’s M-Count (Midoclorian Count) to his clone that we see in The Sequels. Omega is likely *NOT* Force Sensitive but has the power to replicate M-Count levels a person has to a clone. The reason why we might have Rey’s Father is because Omega might have died so the Empire couldn’t retrieve her blood. This may mean why we had defective clones of Palpatine such as Rey’s Father. This is likely only one part of the entire project though.

I have a feeling that the episode titled “the cavalry has arrived” refers to delta squad arriving to take out the bad batch. 😢 it would be a glorious and devastating ending.

I love you theory ..but the way you pronounce things (especially things that have been spoken aloud in canon shows and such) drives me absolutely crazy. Omega, Necromancer and Yaddle are my top three 🤣 Id also have to say that even the way palpatine did it was still pretty epic. Yes, the cloning part is scientific, but his essence transfer is still an amazing power he had to discover. And i also still believe Matt Smith was going to be thay younger clone of palps, but they went another way with it. I wish we got to see that

I have some thoughts by this yes I understand the point of project necromancer but my thoughts are this when in ROTJ when Emperor Palpatine “dies” and his essence goes to his clones body’s idk but didn’t he become stronger in the Darkside and burn though them because he was that powerful if not more powerful then before

It's just Palpy's clone. The problem with all these shows and stories is that they all lead to that one, inevitable moment: "Somehow, Palpatine returned." We already know how this all ends, we know what will happen in the timeline. Unless something drastic happens (World Between Worlds time rift/Star Wars What If), nothing will matter.

I think Plagueis was far more advanced in his thinking than Sidious ever was. I think Palpatine is a great example of the rule of two failing and ultimately destroying the sith. I think Plagueis would have succeeded if he had been allowed to live longer
