I had mudders on my 1999. It was pretty tuff. Im glad i bought it at the end of it’s life so i could treat it like a tahoe and can attest to them being helluva tuff. At least the 99 was. It had 317k on it when i sold it and i know the guy still drives it from 2 years ago.

I customized my Escalade like a year ago like this with this exact set up but the the upgraded upper control arms , Rought country told me it won’t fit jejejejeje... it’s runnin like a monster ... from WG Florida 🚜

One way to retain the autoride suspension is by using Mcgaughys lift kit. It’s what I ordered and will be installing on mine

You could of added a resistor to the suspension. So the light would not show up on the dashboard.

How did you combat the computer cutting power to the engine? If you have the suspension error, the computer actually will not let you drive past 80 mph and it’s actually extremely annoying because if you hit 80 mph it doesn’t give the power back until about 75 mph. I know you can wire resistors to trick the computer but that’s kinda a hack way of doing and it and the resistors get extremely hot and fail unless you find the perfect resistor for the job.

I don’t think anyone buys or lifts these things for mpg. But without regearing the axles it’s probably at 10mpg in the city. Maybe 14-15 highway
