Stupid WJ Airbag lights drive me crazy! Many say the clock spring is the fix but I keep solving that problem with used 2004 WJ airbag modules. I didn't want to waste the footage so here's the clockspring video! #jeep #grandcherokee #clockspring

Good Video. If the Airbag goes on only intermittently when turning the steering wheel but goes off while driving straight ahead, then it is most likely the clockspring in the steering wheel. If the Airbag light stays on all the time, then it is most likely the Airbag module located in the center console.

Here's a solid WJ Clockspring vid... however if you're tryna get rid of that darn airbag light I'd recommend you install a used 2004 WJ Airbag module.

Airbag light came on in my 2003 Ram1500.Got a module from the yunkyard and it fixed it..😁👍👍

jeep service in eu have change airbag module for free. ask in yours.

I just change a steering gear space in an 00 XJ and broke mt clock spring in the process. Waiting on a new one

Its good to change an old clock spring befor trouble starts ;) . Did you check for codes , a good reader reads all the mods.I do some trouble shooting and if I come up with nothing then I start throwing parts at it, lol.

Oh, one more thing. Have you done any videos trouble shooting ABS codes on a ZJ, specifically ABS codes 9 and 13?

Hi, Dan. Speaking of clock springs I have a question regarding my ‘97 ZJ, influenced by a video you did a couple years ago doing a steering wheel swap on your ZJ. My steering wheel has cruise controls on it, but if I want to swap steering wheels to get one with radio controls, is it just a plug and play or would I need to do a clock spring swap? Or am I totally missing something? Your video wasn’t real clear to me regarding that aspect. Thanks in advance.

the horn goes on on my 1998 Grand Cherokee at 3 AM it just went on had to pull fuse out , do you have any video on this problem.

Hello. My airbag lamp is on too. It is not possible to order the module yet. Tell me, if I disconnect the connector on the steering wheel from the module, will the pillow no longer work? Or is it necessary to disconnect the connector near the gear shift so that the airbag on the steering wheel does not work ?

Do not unplug anything. It's better to have an airbag warning light than to have no airbag. If you are uncomfortable with these repairs please see a dealership

Hello. Please help me, I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 2.7 liters. When I open the doors, the interior light on the ceiling used to light up. Now it lights up only in the legs and doors , there are no lights on the ceiling . And there's no light in the trunk either. When pressed by hand , they light up on the ceiling , in the trunk it does not light at all . When I close the doors, the light in the legs does not go out completely, it burns at half-glow (a little bit). I checked the fuses , I think . In the trunk, the lamp holder shows 12 volts, at both ends, (measured without a light bulb). If you know how to fix this problem, please write. thanks . Здравствуйте. Помогите пожалуйста , у меня джип гранд чероки 2002 г 2.7 литра. Когда открываю двери , раньше загорался свет в салоне на потолке . Сейчас загорается только в ногах и дверях , на потолке не горят . И в багажнике тоже не горит. При нажиме рукой горят на потолке , в багажнике вообще не горит . Когда закрываю двери , свет в ногах гаснет не полностью , горит в пол накала (чуть чуть). Предохранители вроде проверил . В багажнике на патроне лампы показывает 12 вольт, на обоих концах , ( мерил без лампочки). Если знаете как устранить эту неисправность ,напишите пожалуйста. СПАСИБО .
