You should use guides to help remesher create a proper topology. That way it's easier to preserve details around the eyes and other face areas when you perform projection

So once retopo finished inside in zbrush. i can export the model to maya straight away start rigging or again i have to do retopo..

Can i use the project all detail when i am dynameshing? When i'm dynameshing, sometimes i lose all of the details. However, when i reproject the details there are holes in the mesh. Or is this method only useful when u are retoping? Any ideas?

I know this video is old (2016), but what people never taught in these videos is the ‘why?’ Why transfer detail to a mesh that is only slightly better? This workflow is ‘okay’ but you’re only transferring detail from a useless edge flow to another mesh with an edge flow that is only slightly more useful, except that you lose detail no matter what and it makes you think that you have to ‘up’ the polys to re-capture lost detail, which defeats the whole purpose to begin with. I mean, the Z-remeshed mesh is not acceptable for animation, it’s uselss for game models (it’s only useful for still-pose scene (just too many tris/polys)…and you come out with a 100x better low poly mesh if you just learn to manually retopologize…then just export and bake 100% of original detail onto an AO map and. normal map…plus you learn a TON about 20 other skills in the process. After years of 3D, I realize that ZRemesher was a good concept on paper, instant retopology, but the resulting topology was just not optimal and the parameter controls have never stopped being wonky, even after preparing with polypainted guiding lines. I dont mean to be so critical but it was this type of video that helped fuel the ‘you-dont-need-to-go-to-school-to-learn-3d’ camp without teaching anything about the ‘why’ or about the purpose of remeshing in the pipeline and slows down learning for people who are beginning 3d and who need to grasp the long-game early on or else, your learning will grind to a halt later.
