I just ordered the Polarized film my spot is small compared to what you had on your screen but I too do not want to keep buying projectors. Thank you sir you did a great job showing us your how to do and what to look for on rotating the film. Much Appreciated.

It's not the film that burned, it is the adhesive! Even if you clean of the adhesive from the glass and that film, you can stand it back in the projector! One layer is sufficient! But before removing the film stick on a marker that points out the top, from both the film and the glass! With linear polarized film it is essential!!!

That would totally work. I believe you can also purchase the polarized sheets without adhesive. Worth a look...

Thank you so much for this repair vid how does the picture compare to the original performance of the projector and i believe this is the happrun h1 right ?
@niz762 ай бұрын
Correct. Happrun H1. I took the polarizing film off both sides of the glass and only installed it back on one side. You can tell the picture is a bit more washed out - but it's hardly noticeable. If you install the polarizing film back on both sides of the glass and notice the picture looks darker than before, you can take one side off and it'll "lighten up". It's actually a brighter for daytime viewing now which I do like.

@@niz76 interesting observation i have the happrun h1 alongside other led projectors and i am just doing research for when this happens as i am noticing some slight yellowing in one spot on the happrun on a white background. so having the polarizing film on both sides makes the image darker compared to the original performance of the projector so one side is the way to go it seems that long exposure to heat is the problem here i have seen people on youtube put better and quieter fans like noctua in led projectors for better cooling so maybe this helps with the polarizing film issue too in addition to the reduced noise level
@niz762 ай бұрын
@@simpletools6805 Yes heat is absolutely the issue here. I've had to remind my family to turn the projector off when they're not watching TV for a while. Leaving it on all day burns the film.

What part of the projector is that piece that’s burnt called?
@niz762 ай бұрын
Lens. The film that's on it is polarized film sheet. I linked to what I used in description.

how to find perfect angle please ?..i just got one with wrong angle from ali so now i have two pieces would that do ?
@niz762 ай бұрын
Your question isn't very clear, but if you're referring to the polarizing film being wrong- just rotate it 90 degrees.

@@niz76what if the glass doesn’t have any film, would you be able to see the images on the projector still?
@niz7610 күн бұрын
@@Remedy718 Honestly don't know. I can say that when I went from two layers to only one, the picture was brighter and almost "washed out" so Id guess it'll prob look even more so with no film.
@timwegman57762 күн бұрын

@niz76 He's mad because it definitely DOES work! The rude comment was obviously from a projector seller that won't sell as many projectors once everyone figures out this simple fix. Thanks for the information. Now I don't have to keep buying projectors over and over. 😅👍
