Coriolis flowmeters also measure the density of the process fluid to a high level of precision. If water is mixed with oil, the concentration of water in oil can often be determined by the change in density. What is the maximum gas ratio in liquid?

Thanks a lot for your question. Accurate measurement in liquids with entrained gas is a fascinating but also quite complex task. There is no maximum gas volume fraction that can be specified for every process condition. We can address an extensive range of uses with excellent results up to 15% GVF. @@waleedellafi8286 EGM is the name used by another Coriolis manufacturer for its entrained gas technology. Promass Q Coriolis flowmeters from Endress+Hauser are equipped with GFH (Gas Fraction Handler) and MFT (Multi-Frequency Technology) and can be used to detect entrained gas in the medium and achieve accurate measurement with it’s internal compensation. Thanks to its excellent measurement performance, Promass Q is also the meter of choice for all types of custody transfer applications. To meet the requirements of custody transfer, always check the specific regulations, as the presence of entrained gas is often not permitted in such transactions.
