This dance was corny yet EPIC! Haha. JLC said she loved doing it because she had taken dance for many years and it was great to show off some of her talents in the movie.

Like John travolta in his famous single dance this. Also famous dance scene was done by NO other professional dancers unlike a lot of movies n especially skating or pro dance I really was a. Competition which to the ordinary skater n get this they almost started thee olympics 4 it. But never got past world n that is figure roller skating now they call artistic I’m 52. People think I’m upper 30s feels good know like most show entertainment type of people r like that but once I was in high school wrong crowed I hung out with my poor decision b 4 I was a flag barrier still like in between cheerleading and the top was the baton thrillers nowadays cheerleading is a competition but definitely worth not like regular cheerleaders the ones in competition people come for them as much or even more if the football team sucks they’re basically gymnastics no joke

Films like this and also Fame and Xanadu remind me how the early 80s still looked and felt very late 1970s. I think when Footloose came out in 1984 is when the 80s started to look distinctly 80s.
@DavidLopez-jl2ug6 жыл бұрын
I say the same. Around 1984, the 80s started to change somewhat. The bigger hairdos, more jewelry, and lacey clothers started coming out.

@samosler40095 жыл бұрын
David Lopez I don't know who Taylor Dane is but I'll Google her. 1987 was a little late for the 80s to start though? It did seem that 1980-1982 still had a 70s feel and the 80s look that Madonna and others had came up in 83-84, funny thing is Madonna was a disco singer in the late 70s before she was signed and had astyle similar to this movie at first

This scene is one of best. You have two people from opposite corners. One is grieving over the death of her sister and has no idea the other is involved in her death. Whilst the other is racked with guilt over it but too scared to confess it. Yet despite all their insecurities over the matter, they struggle to have a good time despite others trying to ruin it. Neither one of them even knows there's a killer on the loose.
@jennyn56926 жыл бұрын
I've always thought this movie was sad, so many lives ruined. The song at the end is really sad, too. And why did Alex have to kill poor Slick? He had nothing to do with it.
@Shanethefilmmaker6 жыл бұрын
Slick was pretty much in the wrong place at the wrong time.
@Shanethefilmmaker5 жыл бұрын
@@jennyn5692 A little late, but thought I'd add more to it. Slick was also a witness and Alex couldn't afford to have him run to the cops and describe the killer. Even if he's wearing a suit to disguise himself. The suit is distinguishable enough for cops to start searching.
