ProMod Stomp at the Strip from PBIR 3-8-14!!!

On March 8th, 2014 some of the heaviest hitting NHRA ProMods hit the strip at Palm Beach International Raceway for the first annual "Stomp at the Strip". They ran a 16 car field for a run off for $5000!!

The entire facility was rebuilt in '08, road course was reconfigured, separated from the drag strip, creating the need to sacrifice the west stands. But the facility is WAAAAY better now, the surface went from one of the worst to the best I've ever raced on.

wow this left lane sucks, half the guys cant even make the pass while the right lane blows by them

surely the fact that Knowles, Rowe and a few others ran mid 3.90s in the left lane shows the lane did not suck at all... there is far more to it than that. plus most guys will have been using this event as a glorified test session.
