Close up the plug gap. Worked for me on a gas generator with a honda twin engine. Also try adjusting the mixture.

I did, closed it to 0.6mm and then a little more.

Have you checked the valve lash? Also what’s up with that governor? Digital?

Digital governor, which controls throttle. Valve lash was adjusted recently.

@@ShaunDobbie got a video on that governor? Also I don’t see it in the video, are you using a regulator like a garretson? Have you checked to see if it’s getting fuel properly?

Probably stupid question, but is there good contact between the grounds, coil and engine block, also is the gx200 engine grounded to the actual van?

Yes, it is and the ground connection is very good.

@@ShaunDobbie might give it a try floating, not ground to van chassis incase something is affecting the ignition system. Probably sounds daft but it's something I would do myself without questioning it.

@@dav1dbone It has a strong ground connection through the exhaust, so there's not much I can do in that regard.

Might be the hv lead going to the plug,
