Very impressive. Just a little unnerving as the giant prop blades go through the station. Scary!!!
@Trapster992 жыл бұрын
The propellers would have been stopped before arrival at the station. In addition to the personal hazard it presented, the force of the air draft would have picked up every bit of debris and pebbles in the air and throw it all into the air. What a mess.

Prior to the passing of the record attempt an engineer placed some sheets of a newspaper on the rails. They we're untouched after the passing. The following goods train whirled them up into the air.

@yeanbasch18766 жыл бұрын
@Beimann_19734 жыл бұрын

Now we have electric rail systems called trollys. Not many outside cities, not many in general unfortunately. If electricity was ACTUALLY clean, it would be a no brainer, but we still do not produce it correctly. I don't know if there's any alternative though. Tesla energy flying threw the air has many issues, but i still don't see anyone trying his ideas out. I wonder why.

One was built in the United States and is still the speed record holder here, 182 MPH was recorded. The concept itself is quite silly though, and not very practical, since most of a train's efficiency comes from pulling unpowered rolling stock.
