Thanks for the video. I own Kayak the Bay, ltd., a kayak rental, in Lake Erie on Put-in-Bay. most people think that kayaking is a lot of work. This video shows how easy it is and that any age can do it. Thanks!!! We have beautiful limestone cliffs and it's sooo easy to get out on a kayak and get a close up look.

He was talking about Hobie Cat Kayaks, I believe. A kayak with foot pedals that propel the boat instead of a handheld paddle. Google them, they're pretty awesome. I personally ride a Malibu X-Factor and I love it.

Tight hamstrings can be the biggest cause of reoccurring low back pain, especially problems with the Sacro-Iliac joints. Big pain from those joints when they get inflamed or locked up.

I don't think they are showing the best paddling technique in this video. Look for "paddler box" technique - this is when you minimize bending your elbows and mostly get energy from rotating your upper body. I just learned about it recently and it makes sense to me.

I bring the paddle up higher and push with the right shoulder when the left blade is in the water. It spreads the loads on muscles so you’re not just pulling on the paddle. Bonus is your deltoids look massive afterwards 👍
