When cleaning an Air Conditioner you must make sure that the equipment has the right pressure AND volume of water to push the mould off the back on the coil. For cleaning your air conditioning unit, don’t reach for a pressure washer. The intense flow of water can bend or crush the delicate fins and restrict airflow, which in turn shortens the life of the unit.

A friend of mine in the Philippines has her window aircon cleaned every 6 months ? by a electric pressure washer , PSI unknown . And she has not mentioned any issues . Other than it cools much better after getting cleaned . Though I expect pressure washers with what level of PSI ? would / could be detrimental .

Hi, Thanks for you comment! We absolutely agree regarding the use of a pressure washer. They are not designed to clean Air Conditioners as they bend fins on the coil and they also don't remove the mould. Our equipment is designed specifically to clean air conditioners with the right psi and also volume of water to push the mould and biotoxins out the back of the AC.

Hi Peter, Thanks for you comment. We see many people using all kinds of equipment which is not fit for purpose for cleaning AC's. Not only are they risking peoples Air Conditioners but they cannot guarantee they are cleaning all the mould out which we can. Hopefully consumers will start speaking out about spending their money with "cowboys".

How do we clean back side of Λ (lambda) heat exchanger? I dont see that detail on any video of cleaning! I guess it is not the case "if it is not visible, than it does not need to be cleaned". BTW, it is best system so far on the market.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Our machine has enough PSI to push any biotoxins through the back of the coil unlike other equipment who just push through to the centre and leave it all clogged. Thanks

@@HydroKleenAus You misunderstood me. Lambda heat exchanger has 3 segments. 2 (top and bottom) are facing toward us and one (top) is facing towards wall. I do not see how you can clean that wall facing part without some kind of nozzle adapter to turn jet in correct direction ( downward and from wall). But that would probably pose another problem of bending fins, because high pressure jet would be too close to the fins as wall is too close.

With that amount of dirt. I would insist for them to bring down the whole unit so that they can clean it completely. I remember one time when my technician just cleaned my ac without bringing it down. It only took me 2-3 months to have my ac have leaks and have it clean again. And when i insisted them to bring the unit down. They found it completely dirty in the inside.

Hi, Thanks for your comment. Our product is manufactured specifically to replace the need to pull the AC apart. We complete hundreds of hours of research and development on all different systems to make sure the water pressure and volume is pushing through the back of the thick coil and not just dribbling water through as the mold, dirt and other materials needs to be pushed out into the catchment bag. We see equipment all day every day that isn't manufactured to clean thick heavy coils and leaves all the buildup still on the back of the coil and inside the AC.

@@HydroKleenAus It's Ok, the only problems are the turbine axis. The water is gonna mess with the ball bearings so it's better to take the turbine out.

Better to remove the fan (not so hard when you have opened it up that much) since it is hard to get it really clean with that method. Then use dish soap and water, spray on, let it sit, use pressure washer and warm water. It looks like NEW!

Unplug the electricity that runs into the ac.. Never clean an ac that's still plugged..

Yes we find alot of units that produce a bad smell but some you can tell that they need to be cleaned because they are leaking, not getting cold enough or the electricity bills are high. We are lucky with our equipment we can clean the whole system to as new condition while it is still on the wall.

We see these results in less than one year in humid climates. This AC was found in Canada so it was possibly several years but most people don't know what's hiding behind the covers.

Back coil is dirty you clean only front coil but back coil is not clean
