He is trying to justify himself after he got divorced. The New Testament is clear,let no man divorce his wife.We aren't in the Old Testament, We are in Christ and His Word is of a Higher Standard than the times of Moses.

Of not. Paul said it’s better to be single for a reason. If you want the intimacy like Moses had or Paul had sacrifices have to made. Being in a leadership role come with that.
