Native here - we used to get 48 inches of snow in 50's and 60's- now with global warming almost never . except for that freak year a few years ago. Also snow melts fast. I was an avid cross country skier and there is rarely enough snow to do it in the last thirty years - unless you go to north.

There were settlements in Boston by the 1630s!!! Its real name is Tax-achusetts... It 's no fault insurance means you pay anyway... I come from Cape Cod btw, which means I'm saner than the Bostonnuts and fruits... Massachusetts gets severe Northeasters, hurricane force winds surf every year...The snow comes down horizontally sometimes... &&&&& occasionally a HERicane will come calling...

@@saxenas, I am a professional musician, graduated from the New England Conservatory in Boston and lived there for almost a decade. I’m very familiar with Boston’s music scene and I love Boston Symphony. I’m also a good friend of Noune who herself is a highly trained, in fact fantastic, opera singer. My question to her was meant as tongue’n cheek, which I thought I had made obvious with the three winking smilies. Boston’s symphonic orchestras, especially Boston Symphony, the Boston Pops and BMOP are so world renowned and such major attractions for cultural tourists that they would deserve at least a passing mention from a professional musician like Noune.

You forgot traffic as a con. The traffic is terrible in eastern Massachusetts. This state is not worth the price that it is. The beach parking is at least $20. Boston is hard to get into and drive in, the T is old and dangerous to take. This state is overrated 🙄
@BostonAreaHomes
@BostonAreaHomes Жыл бұрын
@Jedi Lowrie the traffic is bad during rush hour, yes. It is a very old state. The reason MA is hot is because of the job opportunities, the education level, the academic excellence, the location being closer to Europe. That is what is attracting people to move here. I agree it is very expensive but depending on what you are doing, if you are in biotech or medicine or technology, it is a great place to be, especially if you have school age children.
