I have had pain protection film on many of my cars. These are my thoughts on PPF and windshield protection films. Our website: www.LEmotorcars.com Instagram: / lemotorcars #ppf

The collection is looking sharp Al!!!! Nothing can survive in that south Florida sun!!!! Kills everything!!!! Thanks for the video

Thanks Joe! The Tahoe is gone, now just need to get rid of the Lexus. I hate selling cheap cars. And you are absolutely right, the Florida sun destroys everything.

Lots of great info ! I’m glad I didn’t ppf my entire DDHC . Only the full front clip

Thanks! Yes, absolute waste of money to PPF the entire car if it will be a daily.

I have PPF on the front clip of the GT350 and the Tesla. Explorer just the nose and nothing on the Mercedes and Town Car. Is it worth it for the Town Car? Love to hear opinions.

If you live in an area where lots of crap is flying around on the highways (like south Florida), then definitely do the nose. If not driven daily and occasional highway use then I would skip it.

What about the windshield of a Tesla Model X? Its windshield is very expensive to replace. Should I windshield protection film it? I got a chip once and thankfully its been fixed.

If you do any highway driving, I would definitely recommend it. Just keep in mind that the film doesn't last long if not cared for (using wipers on dirty window, not treating it, etc...)

I'm thinking about doing the whole front on my darker blue "atlantic" car. Car mostly sits outside but not in the Sun all the time. Max temp around 90-ish F. Would would you recommend PPF for that?
@LimitedEditionMotorcarsАй бұрын
Don't put PPF on older cars. When you go to remove it, the paint is coming with it.

@@LimitedEditionMotorcars I heard about that but my car is 5 y.o.. It's not that old.

Great tips. So not as durable as they claim. Not surprising. I thought the Lexus was gone ?
@LimitedEditionMotorcars Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yeah, not even close to durability they claim. If the car sits outside the film will go to crap in 6 months and you can't buff it or polish it like you can with paint. The Lexus is still here. Tahoe is gone. All I got on the Lexus is a bunch of losers and time wasters. I hate selling cheap cars.

It's horrible man. It's easier to sell a 200k car vs 20k car. I had it on FB marketplace for a few days and I got so much hate that I just took it down. People are so miserable.

Well what’s the point if you’re spending $1000 a year on window film….you can just get a new windshield every year, year and a half

Some OEM windshields are no longer available. (like the LS400 you see in the video). Have you priced a windshield for a 7 series? OEM windshield for 23+ sequoia is $2500 + labor, and that's a Toyota. In addition, once you replace the original, the potential for leaks and wind noise is greatly increased.
