I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! This is the main issue. It is NOT just about light and dark. Most things that are for light and fair skin are WAY too yellow, gold, orange or peach for my very fair, pink undertones. Most face palettes simply do not work for me. But I love it cosmetics! They really have some of my most used products. I love their bb cream as it is the only one with an all mineral spf 50 that doesn't irritate my sensitive, dry skin. I have melasma, so I need food coverage with sunscreen every single day.

Definitely! As someone who is embracing her silver, I need COOL eye shadows even though my eye color is brown. Warm eye shadows now make me look tired.

@@lihayes5046 I can definitely relate! Warm tones, especially ones that have yellow in the base, can make me not only look tired, they can also make my skin look dirty! Shades that are too red (like some deep plum red tones) can make my eyes appear blood shot. Not a good look for me at all! Using a black, gray or navy eyeliner helps warm shadow look a bit better, but my favorite tones are grays, purples and pinks that have a cool blue undertone. Unfortunately, truly cool shadows are hard to find. If anyone is looking though, bh cosmetics Blueberry Muffin and Passion In Parris palettes are amazing cool toned color stories for those who want truly cool toned options! I love both these palettes and the quality is amazing! Highly recommended! I have used everything from high end brands and drugstore and these 2 palettes are my favorites!

I bought this set 2 or 3 years ago and I still have everything everything except for the concealer that I ended up purchasing as a full size because I love it so much. But I use this little book ALL the time and I’m always happy w the results! So happy I bought it from your recommendation! You never steer me wrong 🥰 I’m actually thinking about buying one this year but I end up gifting it to my mom

I totally agree with you on the pinkiness of this palette. I would love this for travel since it looks condensed and durable… but the colors are not exactly what I’m looking for. Realistically I wouldn’t use the lip colors either.. but i love the folding format!

I wish they would ditch the lip product portion - IMO it’s totally impractical since there’s no way to reapply, unless you’re lugging this whole thing around. I’d rather there be two shades of blush, and maybe also two shades of highlight, in that section.

Yup! They need to either give a more even mix of warm and cool throughout the entire colorbook , or, have two separate special editions - thinking how many would order BOTH! And yes... switching up the shades would be helpful for repeat customers!

It’s disappointing that they don’t do different options for different skin tones. These face shades would not work on me and my fair skin. And I imagine a lot of this wouldn’t work for someone with a deeper complexion too.

I would recommend the following… Use lip shades as cream blush and the concealers as eye primer to cancel out darkness or veins. Set it with their eye primer shade or the setting powder. I’ve used the black “liner” powder to darken the corner of my eye too.

I would tweak this in a couple ways, ditch the lip products and maybe have two colors of blush and offer this product for different skin tones.

I was just coming to make this same observation. The pans of lipstick are good for one application but no one is going to carry the whole pallet with them all day to touch up that lipstick.

I bought the last black package version of this full face palette, even though the package was bulky, but I found it was actually very beginner friendly. It had some waste space and useless tools, but the actual products were very good. Maybe missing the liner and brown powder, but the matte deep color certainly took care of those needs. I haven’t bought any since they change the package, not against the new package, but the products are somehow not as diverse as they were in the old package. We might not need 18 eye shadows in a full face palette, however, more than one shade/tone of blush will bring this product to another level. If the brand ever consider doing the following, I can see it will be even more popular among customers with all different skin tones. The first page including bye bye pore press powder, 3 or 4 shades of correctors, 3 or 4 shades of lip products, keep all cream products in one place, will get less messy for sure, Second page including 2 shades of blushes, highlight and bronzer, be more versatile yet still keeping the face products pan size big enough to fit in the brushes. Third page doesn’t need change much layout wise, but please make it at least 3 eye look kind of color story, 1 row of warm neutral, one row of cool neutral, one row of rosy/purple/burgundy, fulfill some needs of “ pop of the color”. It Cosmetics, Don’t let us dream about it too long! Make it happen next holiday season!

I like the colors of the eye shadows and the way they are laid out in the palette, makes it very easy to create a simple or glam look. The highlight looks good too.

Totally agree!!! Hey IT, we suggest you take Emily up on her offer to consult, that would be amazing! I think omit the lip, add 2 shades of blush, and for the love, change up those eyeshadows! I love it when you review these palettes. I think this look is my favorite so far! The addition of that black shadow was surprisingly nice and really rounded out the look. I have never liked black shadows and have always ignored it in my palettes. Also loving this sweater. You look especially beautiful as a fall vision in this look!

You always make it seem so simple to do your eyes, I love that you talk about a lot of different makeup especially ones that others are not talking about, I am a fan of some of them and sometimes it is refreshing to see someone else use their products, thanks for your versatility on that. Also, you make me use my eyeshadow today for my eyeliner, I have been so hesitant to do that, but it was a big win!!! loved it after I did it, don't know what took me so long.

I agree 150%. They should do a split pan for the blush next year. A warm peach and a plum. Give us a plum and some more variety with the eye shadows. IT let Emily help next year. 🤗 Thank you Emily for your review. I use this to travel along with the Needs palette.

I purchased this years book based off your previous recommendations and OMG I LOVE IT!! I’ve really turned out some beautiful looks especially with the “darling rose” eyeshadow shade. Thank you Emily for this review, this palette was a Godsend for this mom of 17 month old twins!!! Sometimes I only have time to pull out one palette and smack on a face really quickly and this does just that!!! Love you xoxoxo

OMG! I am going on vacation in January and then moving across the country. One of the things that has had me a wee bit stressed is knowing that I have to pack most of my make-up away before we go on vacation, and I have been trying to figure out what to take with me that would work for travel and would have everything I need for a few weeks during our move. This little kit is genius!!!!

Back in the day, Ivana Trump always recommended pink lipstick for a more youthful look. Pink blush likewise gives a youthful glow. QVC tends to draw older women who would like to look younger, so It tends to offer a pinker palettets

Marketing-wise the ideal would be if iT offered two palettes-a warm and a cool. They would automatically produce more sales - the customers who wouldn’t purchase a pink-cool palette now have a choice and those who would like one of each organized for them would buy two!

I had been wondering when you were going to review this. Thank you. I was hoping for something not so pink because I was thinking of getting this for a big trip we have scheduled for next spring.

It's the best all-in-one on the market in my opinion. I love that the face powders are full-sized and the eyeshadows that I use most are still in there. Yay, It cosmetics.

This has been something I've watched you review for years and liked, but never bought...but this year might be the year! lol Just seems like a cool way to dip into IT cosmetics for the first time, in the most cost effective way! :-) Love your thoughts and I agree with all of your tweaks! My ideal book would look a lot like your suggestions! 😆 Great video Em! :-)

I missed this! 🙈 as one who’s been continuing to go in office and wanting to look a bit polished I love this release every year too and yes, underwhelming 😕 totally agree about the pinky blush and a mossy green or just one fun color would be nice.

Yay. I always wait for these reviews. The shades had a lot of pick-up but easy to blend. I agree that eye shadow and lip shades should vary every year.
