Good content and thanks for promoting my home town company Do-It. Go Hawkeyes even though we were garbage today.

I have trouble keeping 3D eye on my jigs so now I just use the flat stick on eyes. Just put a drop of UV resin on it, then hit it with a black light. You have a 3D eye that will not come off. It also saves money.

Yum FF Sonar minnow is the best bang for the buck. Zman Streakz 3.75 is virtually impossible to destroy but keeping it on the jig heads is a fight without super glue.

Here's another tip when your jig heads have eyes. Get some Bob Smith industries 2 part epoxy and give the jig head a coating of epoxy on all the painted areas and over the eyes. Then you won't lose eyes or for sure won't have any chipping. This also will keep acrylic paints on so you dont have to have powder paint and have to do any baking on of the paint.

I can see folks making their own soft plastic baits for customization purposes but to me, it's not worth the added costs of molds, materials and equipment needed. Then again, I am retired on fixed income and just had my left leg amputated so my fishing time may be reduced in 2024. I tend to use Temu for the majority of my soft plastic baits. Enjoyed the video!!!

I got REALLY into jigs this winter. I plan to try tying and get really weird on the trailers.

I would throw keitech swing impact in electric shad On those jigs you made. I think there is something really special about skinny swing impact that fish like better than the fat one. Who knows? Not me😂😂
