Chandler pretended to go to online school and online work but instead stayed home and played video games, wasting away 3 years of his life. He should have spent some of that time watching Forensic Files. He knew nothing about how luminal can detect blood clean up or how cell phones ping to the closest cell tower. Simple stuff.

That makes sense that he asked for an attorney (the pause in their video). “Sounds good; put your hands behind your back, you are under arrest for the murder and dismemberment of your parents.”

Why they don't show the part of the video where he asks for a lawyer?

Ironic considering Chandler wrote “Get a job” on his do list after killing his parents.

I think he’s gonna say his dad killed his mom so he killed his dad and didn’t want it getting out. Total BS but that’s what I’m thinking will be his defense. Or something pertaining to his imaginary head injury

Right, he says "i wasn't there when it happened" but thankfully the sec sys from the neighbor captured who went in and when, he also talks about recovering his memory, pathetic.

I'm watching the trial...his defense is even weirder. From their opening statement, the defense is arguing that because Chandler killed all the witnesses, so one alive actually saw him pull the trigger. Therefore there is reasonable doubt that he killed them. I'm not joking.

@@Ocrilat Chandler’s attorneys are idiots!!! Their babbles demonstrated they had zero defense. These two should go back to law school! Or better, get into another line of business. They were totally unconvincing. They know Chandler is guilty. They are heartless and don’t care for the victims or even Mitchell the good brother.

@@elizalam5253 I am very interested in your take here. Please explain then how they could have done a better job...if they are 'idiots' I'm sure you can explain how a much better case could have been presented. You only have a few obstacles: -The police proved that his initial story (strangers taking the parents to the cabin) was a lie. -Video evidence proved the parents never left the house. -It also proved that Chandler was the last person to see either of them alive. -The police showed a clear motive... Chandler was caught lying about college. -There were no other suspects because no one else had a motive or opportunity. -The police found the bodies, the murder weapon, a bullet in the basement, the parents blood in the basement, the parents teeth and bones in the fireplace trap, and evidence that placed him at the scene of the crime and where the bodies were found. -The police also found bloody footprints on the tarp that were proven to be from his sneakers. -The police found the parents cell phones hidden at the house. They also showed that the texts Chandler claimed to get from his mom were sent from his cell tower to his cell tower. -Chandler as a person is arrogant, stupid, sloppy, lazy and unlikable. He can't take the stand in his own defense because of this and the lies he'd have to explain. -Other errors/lies by Chandler that are too numerous to list. IMO the defense had no chance because Chandler was so dumb. I apologize in advance for any typos.

This is really incriminating...NOT! Why's they play this in court? There's nothing there except what they hope will be all conjecture based on cadence, tone, and body language. This is why you NEVER do an "interview" (really an interrogation) with LE

I'm just wondering why the brother really doesn't show any emotion? I understand shock... but he's talking just fine... It's just odd to me that he didn't choke up at all about the gruesome murder of his parents by his own brother.

You REALLY can't tell how that man is trying to hold himself together?... Look at him before the knowledge of what #Chandler did- then go back and notate his mannerisms and gestures, the tightening of the lips, rubbing his hands on his pant leg, etc.. . #Mitch has had a rough go of it, from the Diabetes to the murders- and I'm surprised that he didn't jump over that desk at the killer... Did you see how he could hardly look at his brother when asked if he saw him in the Court?.. SAD... Take care, dearest...💕⚘💕

State has not presented any evidence to suggest this man is guilty of murder. The entire case is just about how they think he was faking his employment while his parents were alive. Okay, you maybe proving he was not always honest with his parents, but this has nothing to do with murder. This trial is starting to appear to be a waste of time.

Are you joking? He lied about his parents leaving, lied about his mother texting him (she was already dead and the text was sent from the house while he was there), the target bags found at crime scene were his and his gf mobile order, skull pieces found in fire place, bodies were found in places shortly after he visited. He visits the farm alone and parks near the woods, the owner of the farm and her gf see him coming from the woods and the next day his dads body was found right where he had visited. A location linked to him. His moms parts were found somewhere he was shown to be on Snapchat location from his girlfriend. He was lying to everyone about going to school, jobs, his wages being messed up, getting a whole new job, renting an apartment out of state, head injury and serious life long symptoms of a fake injury. It was more than little lies here and there. He had his girlfriend leaving her job and apartment to move to another state where he really didn’t have a job or apartment. I see tons of motive. That’s not even going into the fact that he was given a gun and that gun matches to the one that shot his dad AND was found hidden in the farm he is linked to. My guess he will come up with some BS saying his dad killed his mom so he killed him or it’s because of his fake head injury.

@@LovelyRhodes again, he is accused of lying to people. How is lying the same as murder? Even in your response there is only a suggestion about whether he acted honest, but dishonesty does not mean he murdered anyone.

@@thomash.larsen6932 who put it there? Nothing was presented by the state so far that eliminates the possibility that anyone else but the defendant did it.

@@exgamer07 more than lying. Evidence of a crime scene in his house, falsifying text messages, personal objects with the bodies relating to him, bodies found in areas completely related to him, the gun shot wounds and gun found were matched to be his, the text searches of “dismembered bodies found” before they were ever found. Let’s not be naive enough to act like the lies leading up to the murders and during the investigation are not just “he was not always honest” it’s lies that cause motive and also lies that led detectives on a wild goose chase when they were already dead.
